Fees and Financial Aid

year wise fees for my course, i.e BBA IB is RS 90000 per year. -tuition fees: 20,000-50,000 -admission fees: 500-1000 -development fees- 2000-5000 -lab fees- 1,000-3,000 -caution fees- 1000-2000 -other compulsory charges- 2,000-5,000 for my batchmates, fees for management quota can be higher ranging from 5,00,00 to 2,00,000 per year. Scholarships offered such as 1) merit cum need scholarships -excellent academic performance from 5,000 to 50,000. 2) government scholarships -for reserved categories 3) institutional scholarships -according to the college and policies Fee trends, generally increases from 5-10% due to inflation and additional charges

Campus Life

3

the campus life is fun, including a lot of different clubs as well as extracurricular activities. The sports team practices on the large ground of bmcc, which gives a very good platform and exposure. students are planning to introduce new events and clubs since it could be carried forward in the coming years.

Admission

other Colleges I applied to were symbiosis and sppu. i got accepted into symbiosis but after joining it for a month, I didn't exactly like the curriculum and the campus. I switched to despu Pune because they provide cost effective education, with a good campus and a good faculty as well. the campus is airy, the subjects are nice and the exposure is good.the eligibility criteria is students scoring from between 85-95%, higher for popular courses. They accept their own despu exam, as well as the mh cet for BBA and that percentage for acceptance.

Faculty

2.5

the faculty ratio to students ranges from 1:20 to 1:30. it varies on different occasions.most of the faculty members are approachable and friendly. some of the faculty members are kind and will actually listen to your issues and help you with them. Some which I didn't like are extremely strict for no reason, not allowing you to sit for lectures or cancelling your attendance if you don't have a certificate of your sickness or your absenteeism from lectures. About exams, usually there are midterms and end terms (university exams) and apart from that a lot of quizzes, projects etc to mark internals. the failing ratio is definitely low to moderate. The exam difficulty isn't that hard, considering a lot of marks taken in consideration for internals and externals.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.
