The amount of companies visit the campus.
oppurtunites like hackthons,ieee clubs etc.
overall campus environment like views and specilly newly made buildings

The lms is really weak and backdated with its content.
some departments are not well equipted .

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculam is relatiively backdated with contents much older then modern trends .Topics that are taught are not that detailed but are well consised to get an idea and write in the examination .In terns of rating i will rate it a weak 5 out of 10

Internships Opportunities

Internship oppurtunities are given generally with the companies and offers like sde etc are provided to the students and data analyst ,hr roles are provide for them.As i am still unemployed i will be unable to provides such details.

Placement Experience

the amount of comapnies are good and the placemments seasons are good going .From 6th sem the students become eligible for there placements.copanies and startups above 500+ and offers are uptill now the highest has crossed 52.15lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

While taking admission in the college there is a cucet scholarship test which offers scholarship which starts from 15-100% which will be discontinued once the student is unable to maintain a cgpa of 7.5 in every year and in general the fee structure is 90000 for tution fees and 2000 exam fees.

Campus Life

The overall campus life is good and lots of oppurtunities are offered throught the clubs and cultural events are organised to increase the entertainment of the students and faculty from a stress full routine

Admission

I have chosen this college due to the fact that there are multiple and international companies coming to this campus .the amount of companies was good enough to bring me here.My whole prepation went wrong and due to being a covid batch in the year 2021 oppurtunities ceased and and due to some personal reason were unable to avail any.

Faculty

new teachers are little untrained and old teachers are very coorperative with any help asked. there are three units which contains 3-4 chapters and 3-5 ppt for the reference and docs files for stdying ,with additional notes provided by the teachers.For practical subjects there are 10 practicals. there are 2 mst -20 each marks and final -60 marks . for practical subjects there are viva with 100

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
