Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

We are following the NEP 2020, so for me the curriculum, though not changed but the courses with the syllabus have now been very vast. Teaching methods till now are of the same. But the courses I opted for , I would say is good

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid approximately ?4800 during and for admission, and the fees per semester, we have not been notified about the fees but the faculties in the office have told us that the fee will be around and amount to ?3000. So this, with the complete course will amount around ?35,000 (approx) as we also have to pay exam fee of ?500 per year, that is for 2 semesters.

Campus Life

3.5

I'm fine with the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities held every two-three months. Though not much social groups are available (or if I don't know) but the students have been united. Classrooms are well lit, fanned and the cleanliness is always maintained. The festivals celebrated in harmony, libraries accessible (incl. OPAC).

Admission

For the first thing, I'm getting an opportunity to complete my bachelor and masters at the same time at the same amount of time needed without rushing in the midway. Secondly, the infrastructure, the comfort for the students, where chilled-filtered-water are made accessible to students in each and every building/corridors. Thirdly, it is an University com'n, you can't just compare it to other colleges

The ratio , as of now we are doing the classes altogether for the subject, and some subjects have more class power, where the ratio becomes 1:80. Overall there are many scholars but very few so-to-say qualify to teach. Many are arrogant who don't tolerate questions being asked. Some threaten to fail us in the internal exam. As of now, we are having only 1 paper for each subject (incl. Major, Minor and Vocational) and the exam is held in every after 3 months. Say the session starts and in he fourth month is the exam for the semester. The scholars take classes, whereas professors check the answer script. There is a difference between the scholar and the professor in their teachings, views. So even though the students write correctly (which they are taught) the marks have been low, caused checked by the professors.

Firstly the practical they give us is very relevant to our course and also they took us to a real world field survey apart from the bookish knowledge to gain the knowledge of practicality. The exams interval is very uneven. Sometimes the semester ends in 4months sometimes it took 8 months.

The course I have studied is ENGLISH HONS and there are several areas where I find it very pleasant and there are areas where I find there's no need of it so in teams of the syllabus of the course I would say it's very common no special thing there is for the students to add and the perspective of the course are ordinary it haven't help me a bit making any particular decision in my life it's, most of the syllabus is boring there are some areas where I find it creative but the rest is kind of boring although the course is kind of boring in terms of persuasion but the syllabus of the course is designed to be boring if I may say there no creative or interesting angle to it and also no form of relevance to it
