Teaching is mostly theory oriented. Practical application is less here. As Clubs & technical society culture is good here. Most of the faculties only encourage theory subjects. Laboratories needs for improvement.

Placement scenario is moderate here as it is a tier 3 College. Package varies with respect to different branches. Some of the students also try for GATE , CAT & UPSC Examination. After on campus college also provides Off Campus & pool placements.

Firstly our university has semester wise fee structure for both hostel & tution fee.In Odd semesters for NTFW category you have to pay 20,000/- for hostel fee & 19,000/- for tution fee. And you are from TFW category you have to pay 13,000/- for tution fee . And for every even semester for NTFW category you have to pay 18,500/- for hostel fee & 17,500/- for tution fee. And If you are from TFW category you have to pay 11,500/- for tution fee.This includes all the Lab fees, Development fees & registration fees . Out of many ,mainly 2 scholarship opportunity a student can get here State Scholarship & Post Matric scholarship. For post matric scholarship you will get 20,000/- per year for 4 years. And in Post Matric scholarship you will get 40,000/- for once.

There is 3 major festivals in a year SAMAVESH (The technical Fest) , VASAUNT( The cultural Fest) & ILLUMINA ( The Sports Fest). Club involvement is really good here. There are many technical, non-technical & sports club here.

Hostel facility is nice here. Separate hostels for boys & girls.In every hostel 2 times breakfast and 2 main meals are served. In every 2 weeks there helds a Hostel feast. Food is really good & full of nutrients. For better food you have to establish a good relation with hostel staffs .

I choose this college as it is the oldest Engineering College of Odisha. It also costs low as compared to other colleges of Odisha. It has also nice placement scenarios which attracts students. It's admission process goes through OJEE applications by Jee mains rank.

There are 8 semesters in our university in 4 years. In every semester there is one end semester & one mid semester. End semester consists 50 marks ,mid semester consists 30 marks & 20 marks for teachers assignment. Nature of faculties depends upon which branch they are from.
