Life at CU

The course curriculum given on LMS is designed is okay. The teaching methods do have a need to improve because the teachers simply open the ppt and read. The course curriculum is however covered before the exams.

Many companies have visited recently and are yet to visit with the internship opportunities some of which are amazon, Fico, Lg Soft, Walmart, Play Simple, Morgan Stanley, Demandbase, EPam and many more.

The students become eligible to grab any internships or placement offers from their 6th semester by participating in events and hackathons either organized by the university or from outside. The companies start visiting by the end of 6th semester .But obviously the rate of placement depends on the quality skills that an individual possesses.

Academic fees - ?90000 per sem (excluding scholarship benefits) Scholarship - 25% (availed through CUCET) Academic fee paid yearwise - ?144000 per year (with scholarship and excluding examination fee) Examination fees - upto 2 years was ?2000 and for 3rd and 4th year - ?2500

The university organizes two great fests in the campus anually one cultural in the month of august- september and the technical fest in march-april. Each and every block has a library and has a great range of books. The library of block D is the largest and the most beautiful one.

The quality of hostel was okay when i used to reside during my 1st year. The meals provided were neither good nor bad just okay. However, now the quality has improved quite a lot. The hostels are quite affordable. If you do not want a hostel you can also look for a pg or flats in the same locality there are a lot.

I applied to this college because the fees was less compared to other colleges at that time. The admission process was sinole and quick. I also gave my CUCET exam organized by the university to avail scholarship benefits before my admission. So that was a plus point too. Also, the university is not far from my home.

The faculty to student relationship is good overall. The students can easily approach their professors on case of any doubts. The faculty however is strict with respect to the academic scoring based on assignments, surprise tests and project work. The exam structure is simple and the questions range from easy to medium level and is such that any student can definitely pass if he/she studies properly. The distribution of marks is relative like in any other college or university.
