I'm always enthusiastic about the technology and it's advancements. So, I decided to study computer related course. I enrolled in btech computer science and engineering at karunya University. The curriculum here helped me gain indepth knowledge about the subject and implement them in the real world applications.

They mostly hire for the role of graduate engineer trainee. Some people even got internship in their third year of college itself. Accenture and cognizant hired mass number of people for the role of software developer.

After completing 6th semester, students can attend the placement. They have a separate section called karunya placement centre in which they provide all the necessary training to ace the interviews at free of cost. The highest package offered in my batch is 15 Lpa and the average package is 4 Lpa. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, IBM, Tata Technologies, Zoho hired students from my college.

Initially, they ask you to pay 50000 as deposit amount to confirm your seat in the course. Or you can opt for entrance exam which I think is just a formality. The course fees is 1,05,000 to 1,10,000 for a semester. The hostel fees is around 30k per semester(including food). If you are a Christian, they provide concession in your fees by 10%. If you have more than 85% marks in both 10th and 12th, they provide scholarship of 15% concession in your total fees which include both course and hostel fees.

Ever year, they conduct a event called megaplay in the week of Christmas. It's basically a Christmas celebration with dance, choir and speech. During the course, for every second Saturday, they conduct non academic day in which students are indulged in various club activities. You can enroll in the club of your interest like nature, photography, music, Ncc, Nss etc.

The hostel rooms comes under two types: A/c Room and Non A/c Room. A/c Room costs ten thousand rupees more than the normal non A/c Room. The cost of normal non A/c room with food is 30k per semester. They provide both veg and non veg foods. Also, they have different mess for the people of Kerala, Andhra and north Indians.

They conduct eligibility entrance exam to select the students. If you missed to attend the exam, you can opt for management quota in which they ask you to pay 50000 as deposit to confirm your seat. The cutoff marks for securing scholarship at this college is 85%. They arevalso providing concession for the Christianity students.

The facilities are very much approachable. They clear all the doubts of the students. The exams are pretty difficult here . The course curriculum is very well relevant. You can opt for the specialization in which subject you want to master.
