Pros of Karunya University include: It has a decent infrastructure It has around 80% placement rate Great atmosphere and environment as the campus is surrounded by mountains. The climate tends to be good and the place has scenic beauty. The hostels are better than the other colleges and they provide decent quality food. Few departments of Karunya University have good academic plans and syllabus. Good exposure to a diverse culture with international and interstate students. All the restrictions imposed will be only for the first year. Only for the B.Tech course students, the hostel services are compulsory. Rest of the students are allowed to stay outside the campus. Cons or Karunya University includes: It has a high fee structure Compulsory attendance is required for the morning assembly. The students who somehow failed to pay the fees are not allowed to sit in the exams. The placements of some departments are not so great for which the placement rate is 80% and not 100%. The faculty tends to deduct internal marks over unreasonable issues. You can opt for Karunya University if you are interested. Karunya University Review

Initially, they ask you to pay 50000 as deposit amount to confirm your seat in the course. Or you can opt for entrance exam which I think is just a formality. The course fees is 1,05,000 to 1,10,000 for a semester. The hostel fees is around 30k per semester(including food). If you are a Christian, they provide concession in your fees by 10%. If you have more than 85% marks in both 10th and 12th, they provide scholarship of 15% concession in your total fees which include both course and hostel fees.

the course fee is like about in totaal 16 lakh approx and if i divide it by per semister its about 2lakh per semister in which 50k is all about hostel with mess and others aare tuition fees and other facilities

Karunya university student review

I joined karunya in 2023 and i took btech computer science engineering . Fees structure was 1,49,000 for course per semester ,for hostel and food 40000 for semester. For yearly fees paid is 360000. There are admission fee (10000),exam fees based on subjects.there will other expenses like buying or printing record for each semester lab. There scholarship for christians (10000) for first semester, merit students (above 80% in 12 th exams) 40000 for first year of the course and it continues if maintain cgpa 8 or above.hostel food is good.there will daily morning assembly which will be a headache for student. This instituition is very strict on discipline and attendence like you wont able write internals or semester without 80% of attendence. In hostel there will be study hours 8.30 to 10.30 in weekdays and 9.30 to 10.30 in weekends.ragging is strictly offence in this instituition. The placements will be average and you should have 7.5 cgpa to attend placements training.

Per sem I'm paying 145,250 so yearly 290,500 INR. TUTION FEES - 101,750/- ADMISSION FEES - 10000/- HOSTEL FEES - 14500/- MESS FEES - 28500/- EXAM FRES - 3150/- HOSTEL ADMISSION - 5000/- Scholarship is based on your 12th class percentage....and for claiming that all the semester throughout you have to maintain a CGPA above 8.5 and 95% attendance

The fees is around three lakh and sixty thousand per year .That is quiet big for an average family .That is one of the main disadvantage of this college

The tuition fee in karunya is karunya is pretty high if you don't have a scholarship .It is around one lakh and eighty three thousand per semester .This fee includes hostel fees , mess fees and tuition fees.There are several scholarship in karunya . For the students who have 80%,90%and 95%.I have gone for lots of workshops.
