Our college is very strict there no possibility to go for outing even on sundays and also there is no way to stay in pg rather than the college hostels and we do have study hours every day night

Admission:

Actually I wished to go for the srm or vit but I didn't write the entrance exam due to some issue but then one of our family cousin was studying in this college he suggested to join in this college and my father forced and joined in this college in our college we have entrance exam and who ever get selected they check 12th grade marks and who ever got above 95% they get scholarship and to maintain that scholarship they have to maintain 95% attendance

the one thing I liked about this college is the environment/nature around the college campus.
the food at the hostel was great and good. the food was always provided on time. they had multiple varieties and multiple messes to accommodate people from diff regions
accessibility to major needs including food stalls, photocopy stores inside the girls hostel campus

Dislikes

The rules for dressing. they have strict rues with dupattas over everything and anything.
the wardens are pretty strict with the concept of study hour where the students must switch the phone off everyday for 3 hours[ caused damage to my phone] and also we cant use the laptop to study unless we get the permission before hand.
we can never use our lapatop to study in our rooms. it should be in front of the wardens room, outside, where the screen is facing towards the wraden, in this age where all the notes are digitized, this is pretty bad.

Admission:

i did choose the college over the other optios as it looked amazing to me. but i soon quit the institue after 2 years since the pressure academically was too much. the curriculum forumlation was something i couldnt cope with, so i changed my institue with a simpler curriculum and flexibility

My college Life: The Good, The Bad and The Real

Likes

One of the best aspects of my college experience was the approachability and supportiveness of the faculty. Most of my professors were not only knowledgable in their respective subjects but also genuinly inter4sted in helpingh students grow.
They were available for doubts, offered mentorships for projects and ofteen encouraged us to participate in seminars, workshops, and internships.
Their guidance helped me develop a deeper understanding of ciore subjects and build confidence in applying theoretical knowledge in practicval settings.

Dislikes

One of the major concerns I had during my time at college was the high fee structure, especially under the management quota.
At 4,00,000 lakhs per year, the overall financial burden was quite significant, and unfortunately, there ere no internal scholarship schemes or financial aid options
For students coming from middle class or self financed backgrounds, this can be very challenging

Admission:

During my application phase, i applied to a few well known institutions offering biotechnology or life science programs. I received confirmed admissions from VIT and SRM, but i eventually chose my current college due to so few key factors.

I have applied this college only because of good education and spritual way in it. and also i have applied only to this course as per its in the stage of development in future . as per i planed i got my course and i they told to have more than 60 percent in 12 grade and i too had more than that

My Experience

Likes

I liked the Campus here very much, its greenery and accessibility.
The security you get here is awesome, I just feel safe here.
Also the hostel food is very good, compared to other hostels

Dislikes

No cultural activities other than prayer
No other extra curricular activities promoted (it's there, but not given much importance)
Lack of coordination among the departments, faculties and students

Admission:

i chose because i needed the specialisation in genetic engineering and technology along with b.tech in biotechnology, so that i will get an honours degree. And the fees here was comparitively lower than that in VIT vellore. And the admission procedure was also quite simple.

Karunya University: Insight from the perspective of an Undergraduate

Likes

The university has a beautiful serene environment with modern facilities. Laboratories are well maintained and furnished providing students with hands-on experience in their respective fields.
Faculties are approachable and supportive.
In Karunya, the students are encouraged to participate in various activities.

Dislikes

Placement Opportunities for Biotechnology and Food Technology is very limited
The remote location of the university makes it difficult to commute.
Lack of cultural events in the univesity.

Admission:

I decided to join in Karunya because of the infrastructure, academic programs and the values the university provides in overall lifestyle of a student. I wanted to pursue Biotechnology and Karunya was one of the top universities to provide this course.

The great life of karunya

Likes

the infracture they provide which includes numerous specialised lab just for biotech
the resources they give for our educational and career growth like placements,conducting various events and programs
the friendliness of the staffs and professors who are willing to spend time and teach or guide us in any possible way

Dislikes

the attendance because a strict issue we face even if it means we have urgent emergency matters or if we are sick
the number of holidays they provide to go home
the pressure to handle various subjects including labs

Admission:

i applied to this college mainly because of the syllabus that they provided being very relatable and one of the best institutes for having btech in biotech.i did my set of research and found about karunya

I applied to several other Colleges near my home and I got confirmed seat there but Karunya stands out in the area of Students Diversity.NO, I got confirmation in all colleges that I applied . The Admission procedure is a bit lengthy that includes a series of steps to ensure streamline procedure. The elgibilty exam is K-Entrance Exam.

The campus has good infrastructure with nature and has large space for everything with great environment
