Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our course curriculum is very useful and of great need. It focuses on future need and prepares a student to get accustomed to the outside world and be a great human in all. Exams are held 3 times in one semester. Two in sem exams and one end sem of 60 marks and 80 in some.

5

As i am in the first semester now i Would not get any intership opportunities now but with tthe ciurse o time that is in the fifth semester i will get to apply for interships and also there biotech hubs and labs for research purposes for students to use.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I took admission n the basis of APL so I had to pay the full fees that is around 6500 but fr students having BPL card can get free seat in there. The admission fees is 6500 and if you take any self financig course there is an extra summ that adds to it, for computer science as GEC subject more 6000 rupees is to be given and so on. Also a department undertaking form is to be filled up where a sum of 1000 rupees is to be given for 4 years in total which includes all the events that will take place in the fututre from the department. Also some of the scholarships are given from different departments on the basis if the students performance and so on.

Campus Life

5

Campus life in this college is very great, it is full of tress all around which gives a very positive vibes and even keeps the surroundings clean. Also a lot of social programs are held here giving opportunities to participate and grow in all different fields. Also there are many clubs here which students can join including NCC.

Admission

I liked the infrastructure and the beauty of the college very much. It is capable of attracting people because of it beautiful environment and pollution free surroundings. Also it is one of the oldest and best among many colleges and has a great record of creating many good alumi from this institution so there isn't and reason to out rage this college and go for some other.

Faculty

5

The faculty we have in physics department is very good and highly qualified and highly experienced. There are in total 8 faculty members and 2 lab bearers who are very supportive and caring and help in every aspect. There isn't anyone to mention differently all the faculty members and very good, they really help a lot with outside studies and how to compete in different competetive exams and also how to get in great job opportunities and a lot more. In short you will get to meet one of the best faculty of physics in Dibrugarh particularly.

Other Applied Colleges

Tezpur University - [TU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] + Master of Science [M.Sc] (Physics)

Although it is a very good college I wasn't able to get seat because my CUET score was not upto the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
