Course Curriculum Overview
A BA in Political science can lead to variety of careers, such as civil servant, political consultant, journalist etc. This curriculum has given me alot of knowledge of not only dirty politics but also real world. Teachers should not judge and student by his marks. They emphasis on sharing knowledge in order to bring brilliancy in students. The timings of exams are accurate and the difficulty level is very hard.
Fees and Financial Aid
1- Management- One word is enough the LPU-UMS. LPU can beat any world class institute for managing its students, activities and sure anything. I really disappointed by the management of other colleges 2-Academics-IITS academic is really tough and well explored.LPU also has good academic curriculum 3-Placement-LPU has improved itself and in future, LPU will perform well 4-Faculty-LPU is going good to improve its faculty by quality and quantity both. Saome faculties are excellent, maximum are moderate and some are just time pass.
Campus Life
Honestly speaking, i have attended two annual and technical festivals such as "SUFI RANG" and "FRESHMAN INDUCTION", which was held in december abd june respectively. *LPU has more than 20 lakh books and e-books, including books on a range of topics such as engineering, law and education. Moreover, the university library stystem suscribes to more than 30,000 print and electronic journals *All classrooms are very spacious;however, the classrooms in the academic block are in poor condition, with many broken seats and malfunctioing projectors. *University provides gym for students. It also has olympic size all-weather indoor swimming pool with separate warm up and diving pool * students do not run any social group or club. However, students have a union to look after the rights of student.
Admission
Well, i applied in numerous university such as Chitkara, Amity and PU.I received confirmation from Chitkara and Amity. However, i chose LPU because of its exceptional reputation in the field of Arts. Offcourse, i was rejected by various universities because of my marks and general category. The admission process includes steps such as online application, document submission , LPU nest, selection rounds etc. Eligibility of my course is quite simple, candidate should have 60% marks in 10+2 with english or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST* or CUET. Science is the most prefered course of students and cutoff is approximately 90%.My oversall admission experience was quite good.
Faculty
1-Faculty is quite friendly and humble in terms of behaviour. They have a good relationship with the students. 2.Agriculture , Business, Bioengineering etc. However, i like to visit Business since it is developed in partnership with the industry and incubation of entrepreneurship projects. 3.Bioengineering school is not well equipped. Eventhough, it needs proper maintenance in terms of cleaning 4-There are 10 exams in the year. There are extremely easy to pass. Generally, 10 students fail in year. curriculam is extremely relavent to exams.
