Internships Opportunities
the companies that come and the projects worked upon are confidential in nature. the stipend ranges from rs. 1,00,000 to 2,50,000 per month. stipend provided is good and renowed companies with good projects visit the campus.
Placement Experience
students are involved in placements throughout the 2 years. a lot of companies visit but that information is kept confidential to college faculty and placement team members. highest package was 1.25 crore awhereas lowest is around 12 LPA. 100% students get placed and i have started working after getting the degree as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
annual full time fee is Rs.2,00,000 payed in 4 equal installments and it has increased over the last couple of years. Yet, it is one of the lowest and most affordable amongst all business schools across the country. There is also an additional fee of Rs. 100000 given to the MSA society.
Campus Life
campus life is busy and fun and evryone takes up flats and pg's to stay nearby each other and study and do assignments together. festivities celebrated are occasions based. library is well stacked and condition of books is good. facilities within classrooms are sufficient. no space for sports and extracurriculars since the campus size is small. a lot of studnent run societies exist within the campus.
Admission
I chose this college over the others owing to one main factor that is low fees. I received offers from all the other IIM's but didnt choose to go to any mainly due to high fee structures even though all boast of stellar placement records as well. for admission into FMS, you give CAT exam first and if having clered the eligibility rounds, you give personal interview to panelists who decide your admission candidature.
Faculty
faculty to student ratio: 11:300 Really liked HV Verma sir's classes, he has a very interactive teaching style and makes sure to make the lessons fun and lively all faculty members are experienced professionals and highly knowledgable course structure: 4 semester exams with 8 courses each term exams are practical knowledge based and are both moderate difficult in nature
Interview Experience
faced written test and interview. topics of interview were based on Statemet of purpose and revolve basically around your own candidature. i prepared for these rounds through talks with alums and staying up to date with all the current events.
