Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course is the future . The world is shifting towards AI and ML and the relevance will only get higher. The curriculum focuses on everything related to the field. I recommend asking students what their core domain is and let them focus on that and avoid other unnecessary courses. One exam for 75 day gap for 60 marks and then an end sem Only improvement in the curriculum is to make the students learn more of what their core domain is about . For eg a full stack domain doesn't need a ML course

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internships are not bad . The internships for other departments started at first year onwards . For CSE groups it is from 3rd years . Internships were available from different cities like Chennai and even Bangalore.

Placement Experience

3.5

My college offers 99% of placement and is also place that the dear third of top colleges. There are around 30 different companies and campus placements are also available and the highest package attained by a student last year was 54 lacs per annum and now theyre aiming to get around 1 crore per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the college is as follows: For management students, the standard management fee is ?10,00,000. However, if you join at the last minute or if seats are nearly full, the fee increases to ?12,00,000. The yearly fee for management students is ?1,60,000. Additionally, counselling fees vary between ?51,000 and ?1,00,000, depending on the service provided. For SC/ST students, there are 2 seats available at a reduced fee of ?80,000. Hostel accommodation is available in three options: ?1,06,000 for four-sharing rooms, ?1,80,000 for two-sharing rooms, and ?70,000 for six-sharing rooms. This comprehensive fee structure ensures clarity for prospective students and helps in planning their finances accordingly.

Campus Life

4.5

Overall experience at our colleges really good there are a lot of technical events hackathons and a lot of Fun activities happening like every week or so . The facilities provided at both the lab and the class and as well as at the hostel doms really good and satisfying there is nothing much to really complain about the facilities and it comes to both sports and academic Fiesta is the annual event that happens at our college for 2 days and it is a grand event with a lot of celebrities attending and chief guest in the lot of fun dance and singing

Hostel Facilities

4

I live in a 4 sharing room which cost around 1.06 lacks per annum . The water facilities and the food are really not that bad. The menu support for 2 weeks and there are snack every evening . The restrooms and the water are very neat and clean . The wardens are friends . Both veg and non veg for available twice a week

Admission

I applied to Amrita and Kumaraguru and finally decided to join KPR. I would place KPR at 4 th place . I did not get rejected better other I did not attend any other entrance exams at all the colleges in my college admission process there is no entrance exam you the enter through management or through counselling I enterprises management and for my course the preferred cutoff is around 180

Faculty

3

For my department there are 6 faculty. They are well experienced in their field but if you ask me about teaching they are not that good . They are friendly and supportive but for academic part we need to learn on our own sometimes as their classes alone won't help us understand

Placement Experience:

The college provides four tracks for students: the placement track, higher studies track, entrepreneur track and the government exam track. Students can opt for any one track during their third year of study. The campus placements starts from the mid of third year. Mnc's like Accenture, cognizant visited our company the ratio is also good. Lot of startup's and core companies have also hired students.

Reviewed on Jan 5, 2025(Enrolled 2021)

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5 th semester ,however they are not allowed to join companies before completing the current course. Many companies have visited like(CTS, Accenture, Soti, cart rabbit , course 5i and many more) in my batch out of 800+ students around 200 - 250 got placed . The highest pacakge is 13.5 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA - 6LPA. College say its 100 percent placement but nowadays its not true because about 20-25 percent students are bot placed because of skill issues. My plan is to get placed in a good company and save some decent amount and start trading.
