Likes

Access to Library is easy and we have a large range of books , we also have a digitallibrary.
labs are well sophisticated and all the systems are updated to lates versions.
Girls to boys ratio is almost same i.e 1:1

Dislikes

The campus is too small and we cant roam freely as security guards are everywhere.
We cant bunk most of the classes and we have faculty all over the college.
Faculties wont allow girls and boys to roam together.

Course Curriculum Overview

At Now VNR follows R22 regulation according to norms of JNTU Hyderabad. This is so far the best curicullam. It includes many real world applications and further academic pursuits also. It has industry based skills. The freqency of exams is we have 2 mid sems and one lab internal 1 lab external and external sem exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester placements starts and students will be eligible to attend placements Oracle -40,Accenture-100, Delloite-94, JPMC-40, highest package is from Amazon i.e 43LPA almost 87%students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

For any BTech Course in VNR a student should pay 135000 INR . In addition to that we have miscellenous fees . It varies from Branch to Branch . For Core Branches it is 12700 INR and for Allied Branches it is 7700 INR. This Miscelleneous fees includes all the fees like library fees , development fees and other cumpolsory charges also. Students under 10000 rank in TS EAMCET and who have a family income less than 150000 get a free seat i.e they dont pay the 135000 college fee . They only pay miscellenous fees Some students recive the Reliance scholorship which gives 100000 INR for 4 Yrs and some students recieve 48000 INR from ONGC Scholorship every year.

Campus Life

The name of Technical fest is Convergence and the name of cultural fest is Scintillashunz. There a wide number of active clubs in VNR We can access journals and books using for roll no and id card. Vnr alwasys enciurages sports and also oragnises sports fest sometimes.

Hostel Facilities

In VNR College Hostel there are 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms . It costs around 120000 for hostel and 5000 for dobhi. we can register in vnr hostel at the college management section The meal and room cleanliness is very good

Admission

VNR college is somwhat strict to other colleges and is nearer to my home. So my parents preffered this college. It has comparitively low fee than other colleges. It also has a good placemebt records. It has a highest placement of 98.5 L CTC

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:20. each faculty has 20 students as his/her mentees. Few faculties are very close and friendly with students. But there are few who are very strict. Neelakanteshwar rao sir is one of the best teaching faculty. Exams are quite easy at VNR.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
