- Proper guards situated in entrance resulting in better security towards the students
- Experienced facultys well experienced teachers around the city well advance sytem of teaching
Dislikes
- Unhygenic washroom really dirty and full of smell that could lead to various harmful diseases
- No ambulance in the initial year but as an ancident happened the ambulance was provided
- No medical room for injured person for medication
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was overall good but the amount of effort the teachers should put in making understanding the students should be a bit more. There could be improvement if the teachers foucs on certain capability of the students in the class.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete fees for the course was Rs 5000 including registration fees admission fees the fees is low because it is a govt college.My batchmates paid the amount according to their category (ST,SC,OBC).
Campus Life
College fest held in the month of march is the most celebrated among the students which includes various co-curricular activities. We had a lot of sctivites in the college including various tournaments
Admission
I choose this college beacause it is one of the best college in sikkim and is a reputed college among the other colleges and is also located in the heart of the city. I did not apply to other college i only applied to this college,as it was far from my house and it had been an amazing experience living far from home. I had a lot of exerience living all by myself,this helped me to understand how to live in a society, about what types of people you face. Admission process is very simple we just need 60% or above in class 12 to secure a seat in this college. And if we have certificate of identification (COI) then it is very easy and simple to get your name in the merit list of the college. We did not have to appear for entrance exams but the 2022 batch had to appear for the entrance exams inorder to get admission in this college.
Faculty
Faculty is well experienced but lacks in communicatin towards the students, They just come to class and starts teaching no curricular activities,to refresh the students Did not like some of the facultys due to poor distribution of marks towards the students. There were total of 2sessional tests and 1 end term examination in 1 semester till 6th semester
