Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course was very revelent to us. We have many activities that indicates we learn practically. Half of the day is for our practicals. In a week 3-4 days will be having practicals. Before or after the semester end, there will be practical exams. The system was too good, where we can learn a lot practically. Not only subject, our professors teach us the moral values. They helped us to become the person we are in the World. The University has given me a lot. So, I need to thank the University. And also need to thank our department .

Internships Opportunities

5

I have done my internship at madhu sweets, IDL Uppal Hyderabad, Telangana. It's a huge chocolate confectionery industry not a bakery. My friends went to many places like Nestle, dodla, heritage, Vijaya, boost & horlicks, scoops etc., I have done project which is basically a small thesis on millet products.

Placement Experience

5

For placements, fourth semester students will be eligible. Tata foods have visited our college and many more for the other colleges too. We have many sources for the placements. I got job on my fourth semester as assistant professor.

Fees and Financial Aid

My scholarship has covered my course fee. So, the tuition fee is my scholarship. The caution fee for hostel was based on the caste & also our parent's employment. These caution deposit will be returned after the completion of the course. APgovt. Provides the scholarship which be properly applied by the college. The scholarship money will be credited to student account then we need to pay the college. There are many awards from the department for us.

Campus Life

5

The overall activity of the college was too good. Our unity makes us helpful in our college celebrations. This is the place where we learned a lot. Ee had fun. And atlast we cried a lot for missing the campus. We heartfully loves the Environment, the culture & many more.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility was too good. Different foods items for breakfast like, Pongal, Puri, uthappa, idli, pulihora, tomato rice, dosa etc., The registration was also easy. You have to go to the hostel office which is near by the premises -1 of womens hostel.

Admission

Our college especially our department has an unique value in the college. College is a best place to learn. Half day is for classes and another half day is the model practicals. There will be entrance exam for the admission process APPGCET for the course. You people have to apply life science. Our department Homescience consists of four groups called MS food technology, food science, nutrition and Dietitics, human development and child welfare and Extension management and communication. Except for food science, nutrition and Dietitics other courses you have to apply for life sciences. There will be availability of the seats in management quota.

Faculty

5

The ratio was normal. The relationship was too good. Feel free to ask the doubts. They are very close to us. I like every faculty. There are 2 internals, 1semester exams. The exams are not much difficult. We can be able to answer those. The practicals was too good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is so updated and they focus more on application. They also provide us with the knowledge of emerging fields and opportunities. But i feel like the curriculum should be less hectic for the students. The exams are veru frequent here because there will be 3 internal assessments before the main exams and they are so hectic.

My course here in sri Venkateswara university is master of science in statistics. This subject seems to be very interesting and I am very happy with the knowledge that I can get to know from my faculty. Coming to exams and conducting exams they give much time from sem to sem. As it is a semester system we have a lot of time to study. We will be having two internal exams and an external exam. Internal exam is for 20 marks and external exam is for 80 marks on a total of 100 marks.
