I LITERALLY LOVE MY COURSE. I HAD TAKEN GEOGRAPHY IN THE COLLEGE AND, I CAN SAY IT I AM A MAN OF GEOGRAPHY. GEOGRAPHY WAS MY FAVOURITE SUBJECT FROM CHILDHOOD ........ AND NOW I AM STUDYING IT, HERE IN THIS COLLEGE. AND TRUST ME I LITERALLY LOVE THE SUBJECT THE GEOGRAPHY TEACHERS ARE WELL EXPERIENCED AND THEY CAN TEACH US GEOGRAPHY VERY WELL

THIS IS THE 2nd OLDEST COLLEGE IN TRIPURA STATE. IT CONTAINS ALL OF THE IMPORTANT SUBJECTS OF SCIENCE, ARTS (HUMANITIES), AND COMMERCE. THIS COLLEGE HAVE HOSTEL FACILITIES FOR ITS STUDENTS. THIS IS A GOVERNMENT COOLLEGE. THE FEES ARE ALMOST FREE, ONE OF THE OLDEST COLLEGE OF THE REGION.

Campus Life

THE CAMPUS ARE QUITE OK. BUT THE THINK I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THE CAMPUS ARE THE OLD FASHIONED INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DESIGNED. AS I TOLD EARLIER IT IS ONE OF THE OLDEST COLLEGE OF THE REGION SO THE DESIGNED ARE OLD FASHIONED. AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, I AM A FRESHER HERE , SO YET I HAD NOT EXPLORED THE LIBRARY. THERE ARE NOT ANY KIND OF REGULAR BASIS SPORTS ORGANISED BY COLLEGE THEMSELVES. THERE ARE SOME SOCIAL GROUPS IN COLLEGE -------- INCLUDING NSS, NCC, AND SOME COLLEGE POLITICAL PARTIES.

Admission

THE REASON TO CHOOSE THIS COLLEGE IS THAT --- THIS COLLEGE IS 2nd NEAREST COLLEGE FROM MY HOME TOWN. AND THIS IS ONLY THE COLLEGE IN MY REGION WHICH HAVE GEOGRAPHY AS A SUBJECT. THATS THE REASON. THE OTHERS COLLEGE THAT I APPLIED FOR ARE --- 1) MBB COLLEGE, AGARTALA 2) GOV DEGREE COLLEGE, DHARMANAGAR THE REASON FOR NOT ADMITTING THERE IS DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF MY FAVOURITE SUBBJECT GEOGRAPHY .... ALTHOUGH I GOT CHANCE THERE .....(in Economics) I STILL REJECTED DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF MY FAVOURITE SUBBJECT GEOGRAPHY THERE ARE NOT ANY KIND OF EXAMS FOR GETTING ADMITTED IN THIS COLLEGE. THE ADMISIION PROCESS ARE VERY SMOOTH AND SIMPLE. THE ADMISSION ARE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF MARKS ONE HAD OBTAINED IN CLASS 12. BASED ON THE MARKS OF CLASS 12, A MERIT LIST IS PREPARED, AND BASED ON WHICH STUDENTS ARE GETTING ADMITTED IN THIS COLLEGE

WELL, THE FACULTIS ARE QUITE OK. THERE IS AROUND 1 TEACHER PER 30 STUDENTS. AS I AM A FRESHER IN THIS COLLEGE SO WELL I DONT EVEN HAVE THAT INFORMATION ABOUT ALL THE FACULTIES. BUT, HOW MUCH I SEEN, THEY ALL ARE QUITE SUPPORTIVE. ABOUT EXAMS I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH INFORMATION AS I AM A FRESHER HERE.

As my course selection I would like to say that I feel comfortable to choose the course and study it. Even though it is a government college but I like that they give me my favourite subject course and I like it. But some other like minor and interdisciplinary subject they don't give everyone their favourite subject but as I had my marks so I receive my favourite subject The teachers are highly educated and the providers the high standard of education and the Teachers are really talented and good in communication skill and I love this thing about the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So, I am glared to choose this course because we learn different aspects of academics here, we have different compulsory subjects in each semester which enhance our perspective in different spares of life. We address some curriculars like inter department sports competitions. Different programs reagrding social problems and many more. There are speech competitions, debate competitions and many other extra curricular activities which give us confidence to face the real world . We can give our opinions to anyone without any hesitation because we are prepared like this . As i took admission before the NEP was applied so i can say that the difficulty level of examinations that we appear is a bit tougher than the present new comers. We appear in presentation, internal tests, and we research on some topics and make assignments on that topics which is a task till date.

The infrastructure and buildings of Aligarh Muslim University is so beautiful that anyone would like to be a part of it. It has all the necessary facilities like sport grounds, neat and well furnished classroom together with projectors, multi storey library, Wi-Fi facility etc. The food provided here is so healthy and hygienic.

The admission was based on merit basis. According to the marks. But it is to be noted that 1st preference will be given to the freshly passed students and then they prefer droppers.
