The infrastructure of universty is brillent
The university provide a platform to students to perform.

The staff seems rude and it doesn't seem that they want to do there job.

Course Curriculum Overview

The university teach us variety of programming languages and it influenced me to take admission. They teach us soft skills and all the major languages to make us industry ready. The pressure of assignment, practical, mid semester tests should be reduced.. The timing of mat exam is 1 hour which good amount of time but it seems short in mathematics exam.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Placement Experience

From 4 semester or 3rd year students become eligible for placements. Companies like microsoft, hp visited . Highest package was 54 lakhs and average is around 7lacks. About 65% students get campus placements .

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of year is around 19200 after 30% scholarship And additional 4500 is taken per semester for examination charges. By giving the exam CUCET of collage online we can get upto 100% scholarship. There is no discount on category.

Campus Life

The hackathons held every month and activities like filmmaking happen once a year. The libraries have alot books because there are multiple libraries so we can access multiple books . For theory class there is a projector whereas in practical classes each student get a pc to do practicals and in subjects like semiconductor physics and electrical engineering there are multiple numbers of kiya. The extracurricular activities happen very often in hostels and for sports there is multiple basketball and volleyball courts .

Admission

I didn't apply for any collage other than Chandigarh University. This is my first priority as I am not serious for JEE . For admission you need to apply for the collage entrance test online and the exam happen in online manner. for eligiblity of taking admission you should pass the exam with more than 30 marks out of 100 (no negative marking) and you need to have more than 60 percent in 12 th

Faculty

1:30 ratio of faculty to student. Dr. Vikas mittal, he is friendly and open to share his views . No there is no one in faculty whom I don't like There are 3 exams per semester. Level of exam is easy. 3 to 4 students failed to clear the exams

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
