Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is well designed focus on both theory and practical. there were a lot of lab sessions as well. there are smart classes too. sushil sir used to teach in 3d way and he tried very hard to depict each 3d model to us.

i got 15 placment offer and i was the highest placement holder of my batch. currently i am working at indiamart but here i didn't got placed by college. the placements that i got from college was major of edtech companies like edureka, realty smartz, planet spark, verzeo, skolar.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am ananya yadav, a Btech student from obc category. here is the detailed fee structure for my course. fee for the first year was 1,20,000 and same for all the years too. scholarships are mostly based on merits and financial need. I qualify for the obc scholarship but my friend Garima and Avantika are from the general category and their parents are gov. employees so they didn't receive it. I got 55000 in the first year, 48000 in the second year, and 42000 in the third and fourth year.

Campus Life

there were very less facilities when i was enrolled but it got devloped within years. there are no such clubs as well as any sport areas only the campus has greenery which attracts me the most we used to walk in evening and nights. sports fests do occurs and festival celebration like holi, diwali takes places. library is well equiped and has ac as well as good sitting area.

Hostel Facilities

i got room in lavanya girls hostel and it is beautiful. i got the room in triple sharing and all rooms are like that. my roomates were the worst but room was great. it has balcony where you can sit and enjoy greenery of campus. as well as open gym is also in mid of the hostel. mess is also good and have menu options like chola bhatura, samosa, poha , fried idli, tea, poori chole, roti sabji salad too.

Hostel Fee: INR 48000 per year

Admission

i got direct admission to my college as i have secured 92.60 percent in the class 12. lucknow was near to my hometown varanasi and it is a great city too so my parents decided to shift me there in order to be a safe girl child and acquire studies too. Admission is also based on aktu counselling but i got through direct one.

there were 18 girls in the class of 60 students and well in the ece branch too. there were less girls in other branches as well. the course structure is good and focus on both theory and practical. there are very frequent examination and tests too.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

The addmission process is very simple, you need to give JEE mains examination and then you need to participate in UPTAC counselling.
