The course offered is quite good in terms of fee as compared to other universities the way of teaching.they teach us from the ppts that is prepared by University it self and they ask the questions also from the ppts in exams

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of one semester is 106000 and examination fee is 2500 for each semester the scholarship will be continued if you will maintain 7.5 cgpa other wise it will discontinue If again you scored 7.5 cgpa then your scholarship will again continue but this time you get the half amount of the scholarship

Campus Life

Some famous event's are cu fest ,aagaz which helds in mid of sem A wide variety of books are there in library if u want to get prepare for some competitive exam then also u can prepare resources are there in library In classroom projectors are available and ac is also there Sports curriculum are also there Clubs are also there based on your interest u can join

Admission

I applied in cgc and also I was eligibile to get the admission but I chose Chandigarh University over cgc it gives more exposure then the cgc The admission requires a scholarship test based on your marks they gave a scholarship There is eligibility criteria of 65% marks in 12th class if you want to get addmission in CSE branch

The faculties are supportive and understable they support you .the course is designed in such a wày that you will learn every sem a new language in CSE and the marking scheme is based on relative marking scheme

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
