In civil department particularly There is quite freedom to use labs and space for new ideas
Many events in civil department make it a good experience and opportunities to develop
Sufficient lab instruments and. Equipments

Dislikes

Only few faculties are upto the mark most of them are not good enough
Despite having good labs unskilled or under qualified staff to operate
Not much culture for interaction in senior junior

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is mostly outdated but still it is basic and fundamental, but to make students more job oriented more practical and application based teaching methods and evaluation techniques must be used more industrial exposure is important and exchange of ideas and interdisciplinary subjects should be introduced.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 83000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

From 2016 to 2020 fees for engineering was around 85k per year I used to get around 25k merit cum means scholarship by central government for being minority, reserved category students used to get upto 50-60k scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good with friends although there were not many clubs like othere colleges but in our department there are many technical events, the fest of this College is not good there are no big concert even though the college have big name so social life is just ok ok. Sports opportunities are just good, and library is nice.

Admission

I got this College in first round of counseling in my choice filling after few govt. Colleges it was the first private college. With my JEE score it was a little hard to get government college so I opt this one as it was better and convinient than other private colleges.

Faculty

Few of the faculties are too good in there classes and also research or consulancy but most of the others are not good enough teachers although everyone in helpful. Exams and course structure was mostly as per university rules but assignments were not worthy as they were useless like just writing stuff.

Placement Experience:

Placements in college are quite good if we compare them with other similar state government engineering colleges. It has a separate TPO (training and placement office) cell which helps students in their placements. Some quite good companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest being 11 LPA. Core competencies the lowest 3.5 LPA salary offered in IT sector companies. Reliance, LNT, Infosys were the top recruiters. Every year students go for internships in BHEL NTPC etc. Companies ( around 30%) Other 70% students go for local transmission plant as the internship is compulsory for everyone. Students organize cultural activities.
