Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because it was the only available course in the state which offered integrated graduation and i was interested in physics The course and the syllabus is good and if one studies very thoroughly then they can qualify any exam like net or gate Improvement will be if there are internships provided during the course Exams were conducted twice each semester and each semester lasted about 12-14 months
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is 12000 which includes all charges and also then there is an exam fees which is paid at the time of filling exam forms every semester which is usually less than 2000 Some of my classmates who had payment seats, the fees is 100000 for first 2 semesters then 12000 There was no scholarship from the college but you can apply for pms
Campus Life
There were no major festivals held by the college during my time although i did once participate in a college race There are all books required for the course available in the library There are smart boards in every classroom There are also some sports events but i didn't participate in them
Admission
I had applied to two universities, cluster university Srinagar and central university kashmir and i got selected in both universities I choose cluster university because i had an option of integrated graduation there and also because of the location Admission used to be based on an entrance test conducted by the university and now the admission is merit based You have to apply online and wait for the list
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio was like 10 to 30 for my batch. Relationship with the faculty is fairly good and they were cooperative if we ever asked for help I liked a teacher who taught us mathematical physics, his name was Inayat Rasool His teaching was great and he was fair to students There was no teacher who i didn't like in particular There were two main exams each semester And in my course there were 30 students and about 5 failed on average
