- Inspite of high fees and no aids in fees the college provides vast opportunities in sports, education and other activities
- There is committee for everything like for exam , departments even there is committee for ragging which makes clg a safe place to study
- Teachers are very friendly and very helpful they all are updated to all new technologies
Dislikes
- I feel the college is in kind of rush for everything not the syllabus but it is like they complete semester exams in 3-3.5 months
- Management could be more better , this is the area where college needs to focus
- Lastly Fees , college needs to give students some aid or atleast time to pay evevyone cant afford giving 80k at once
Course Curriculum Overview
Course cirriculum is very up to date and thats the reason why i choosed this course. It give importance to the concepts which are valid today and most of the part was practical and not theoritical like others
Internships Opportunities
there are many internship opportunities available here at pillai's college where students get to learn from these opportunities which helps then in getting placements we have a subject in SY called Mini project which helps us to get more industrial experience
Placement Experience
The placement provided is quite nice every year new companies provide campus placement here at pillai's and some students choose to go for masters degree or any other degree within or outside the college
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year at PCACS the admisiion fees for the BCA was 75550 Rs, including 36,810 was tuition fees, cautious money deposit was 150, Enrollment fees was 200, E charge and suvidha fees was 60, Development fees was 500 , Lab fees was 5000 and exam fees was 3300. In first year there are barely any scholarshps and financial aids available. I paid the whole fees in FY. Coming to SY the fees was 78430 ,including tuition fee was 41.,490 , development fee is 500, lab fees 5000 exam fee 3300 and again no scolarships or financial aids were given in SY we were told to pay whole fees in single pay there were no installments plans or aid
Campus Life
campus life is amazing there are lots of facility that the college provide there is basketball court, gym, cricket pitch etc etc Canteen is above average and all type of food/ snacks are available in canteen
Admission
I got confirm addmission from LTCE but i applied here at pillai because of the course cirriculum i thought the cirriculum here is far better than LTCE eligibility cretiria was Percentage above 60% for science stream
Faculty
Faculty is very much helpful and expeienced and has great knowledge about their subjects they are always available for us and they help in solving our doubts both academically and general doubts . they provide us proper path for our futures
