My college life summed up!

So basically our main curiculam is mainly taught in the 2nd and 3rd year which is why it is very easy for us while placements. A lot of types of materials are taught which are very useful for us even the quality check methods are taught very well. I think the curiculam is very up-to-date. Exam timings are also very good, the professors co-operate for other college activities.

Google with 1.35 lakhs, Goldman Sachs with 1.5 lakhs and other small startups with 30k to 1 lakh stipend. There are various session to prepare us for these companies after which we come good enough to apply in these companies.

After the 6th semester, the college students become eligible for the placements which is followed by the campus preparation exam after which students are filtered and then pushed for further placements. A lot of FAANG companies come and a lot of startups visit us. The count of companies is more than 120+. Nearly 95% students get the placements in the batch. I will work then after few years go for highers.

There are 8 semesters in the BTech so per semester we have to pay nearly 75000 as institute fees and 40000 as hostel and mess fees. Different categories have around half of 1/4 of our general category. There are various scholarships like OPJEMS, JSPF scholarships.

My overall experience in the college over the last few years have been so enriching and rewarding. Now I am even leading a technical club and going on my preferred career path where I got interest in. There is great craze of sports because of Sportsfete which is out sports festival of nit Trichy. The central library has served as a great resource for those who are need of materials to study for their engineering.

Actually the rooms in the hostels differed because there are one seater, 2 seater and 3 seater rooms. I can tell you that 2 seaters rooms are very good for living. But in the raining, there are insects that come in so we have to be cautious. Hostel is quite decently prized.

Actually I only give BITSAT and JEE, I got a decent rank in both. But 1. The fees of this government college. 2. NIRF rankings. 3. Median and mean package of the college. 4. Relevance of the courses offered here. I got admitted throught JOSAA counselling.

There are around 50+ faculty in our department which take various labs and programe electives and open electives. The faculty in MME department are considered the best and very understanding faculties. I like Nagrajan sir the most since he is very understanding and very much honest and do promote hardwork. Some faculties do not really check if their students are learning anything or not. I can't take their name for privacy concerns. Typically there 2 types one is 2 CTs and 1 end sem exam or take 1 mid sem exam then end sem exam. Project based exam are also their. These exams are very easy to clear in my opinion.
