What Students Say

Likes

The best thing I liked about college is regular classes and practicals.
There were good facilities of internet connectivity.
There were sufficient amount of Pcs in the labs

Dislikes

The college is disciplined but it is so much that you cant take a offf.
If you are absent for even one lecture then also college facalties will call ata home.
Placements are npt there at Deogiri , in the name of placements we got internships only that also were not good one.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was shortened in our time as our engineering batch was during the coronavirus period. So having little time, our exams such as unit tests and mid-semester exams were taken so frequently that we did not have enough time to study.

Internships Opportunities

There were no companies that came to our college for internships with paid stipends. Most of the students found their internships and others did the online courses, due to recession no companies came to our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual fee to pay per year was around 81250, but being an SC candidate I paid only 1 rupee fee everything rest of the fees were paid by the state government. If you are an ST candidate then you have 0 rupee fees i.e., no fees. If you are a OBS candidate then you have to pay 60000 per year also you can fill in installments of 15000 each.

Campus Life

The campus of this college is too small, as the campus is over 10 acres there is an engineering college, B.sc college, and high school college(11th and 12th) college also. There were clubs like art clubs, astronomy club, debate clubs, etc.

Admission

The main reason for choosing this college was that the college is set at a prime location in the city, and modes of transport and accessibility are easily available here. There were placements available at the time of my admission but now they are not.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:2. The faculty members are friendly and approachable. They will complete your syllabus on time. Even though some faculties have done PHDs still they will not be able to teach good.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.

I chosed this college coz it has a very good reputation . Lectures are conducted regulary there is nothing like off lectures here. If a professor is unavailable some other professors is scheduled to take the class , the class is never cancelled .
