Likes

No ragging campus, students are average well behaved.
Computer labs are well developed and AC library for free internet access and to study from books. Canteen available for average good quality food.

Dislikes

You've to wear uniform some days. but it's opinional, only few weeks at start of semmester they ask for it.
Sometimes they do drama over attendance, also very less holidays.

Course Curriculum Overview

My specialization is CS (AI-ML), so overall there are many opportunities in this field. but, you've to work hard and work on yourself by adding skills and projects to your resume, to get a good and stable job.

Internships Opportunities

Companies come for internship drives too. but most students do their internship on their own, by applying on direct company websites or Linkedln. I haven't done my internship yet, so I don't know much of it.

Placement Experience

Companies start coming for placement drives in college just after 2 months of you passing your 3rd year semmester exams. If you've skill and you are employable, then you can demand package as per market standards. for ex- 3LPA to 8LPA for freshers.

Fees and Financial Aid

At time of my admission in Btech, it was 106000, but it increases every year. currently it's around 140000. also, scholarship you can get according to your Jee percentile. some of my classmates pays only 20,000 per year.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of college is very good, it's not very big but yes it's good. AC classrooms, labs and library. 1st year chemistry, physics and all other labs are also good. Building renovates every few year. and is renovating even now. Canteen food is good. No ragging campus. Average well behaved students.

Hostel Facilities

when I took admission, hostel was 108000, but now it's 138000 (including cooler for 3k). average food, better than average PG in greater Noida. Room is well furnished, you get study table, chairs, wooden bed with diwaan, iron almirah, big mirror, balcony, big bathroom. you can check it for yourself. but you've to always keep outpass to go outside.

Hostel Fee: INR 138000 per year

Admission

Fee structure was good enough at the year of my admission comparatively to all other engineering colleges in India or Greater Noida. + they were the only ones providing specialization in CS(AI-ML). so, I choose this college.

Faculty

We have to give CT-1, CT-2 and then, PUT (pre-university test) before semmester exams. if you score average in these exams, then also they'll give you above 40 out of 50. but work hard in PUT. Teachers are good, don't trouble them, they won't trouble you too, but if you poke them, then, they'll target you for whole semmester. 30 marks of CT, and 100 marks for PUT. (now it's 70)

College life and it's reality

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Campus placement is offered in college but not all students get on campus placement only some students get and others have to search for off campus placement you have to be in top 10 in your branch to get a on campus placement as the competition is very high

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

After Completing of 5th Semester Student can Eligible to join the company and if Student have Skills and Knowledge they can get multiple opportunities. Many Company Visited in our College Campus like Novoinvent, HUULKE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, TCS, VIRTUAL EMPLOYEE, GRANT THORTON and Many more. Highest Package of Our College is 8 lpa and it is depend of Students Capibility and Average Package is 3 lpa. 50-60% students got placement and lastly I wanna say is that It's not depend on College it's depend on Students. Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.

I chose this college because firstly i was getting the course which i wanted, I wanted to pursue MBA with business analytics which i was not getting anywhere else at this price secondly the fees is affordable for me as compared to other colleges like LPU where i would have to pay 14 lakhs approximately and here i got the same course with same specialisation in 3.6 lakhs and lastly placements this college has very good placements for MBA Business Analytics which is better than LPU at this price apart from got selected in Galgotiyas University but i was not not getting business analytics specialisation therefore I selected GNIOT to pursue my masters and it was the best option for me....Read More

We can admission through both counselling and direct admission. For CSE we had 75% marks in boards. For counseling we have to go through aktu counselling process. Application fee of aktu is 1000 . Collage is good but some faculty are not well qualified and also management are not to good.
