Course Curriculum Overview

The course is carried in such a way so as to cover all the major subjects. Instead of that we also undergo various seminars and lectures which are carried by industrial experience persons which helps us to enhance our knowledge. The EXAM pattern is also very much oriented with the students. All students are given equal and ample opportunities to score good marks. Two slot examinations are taken in one semester which helps us to keep us on track of learning.

Placement Experience

The placement is quite well. College brings opportunities for internships as well. I am an Electrical Engineering student and have got two jobs. One at JBS Enterprise Pvt Ltd. and another at Patel Information Technology.

College Events

College celebrates various events. Some of them are- 1.Carnival of Lights 2.Idea Hunt 3.sports 4.Model Exhibitions 5.Quiz 6. Alumni Meet 7. Blitz 8. Debate competition 9. Poster making competition 10.Worlds Engineers day 11. Worlds Earth day I am very thankful to NFET for providing us with such opportunities.

Admission

I gave my WBJEE EXAMINATION and I got to know about NSHM KNOWLEDGE CAMPUS, DURGAPUR by a senior who was studying at this college. I inquired to her and she recommended me this college. I personally visited this college and saw the infrastructure and labs and I found it good.

Faculty

Faculties generally provide their e-mail ids and contact numbers when they visit us for the first class. There are tutorial classes where students can reach faculties for any kind of doubt clearance or for any assistance. They can also be accessed in their workplaces.

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it .
