College Events

4.5

NSHM is a place where something or the other is always happening. We have events happening throughout the year both academic and cultural. in academics, every department organizes yearly seminars conferences and workshops. we can meet and have productive interaction with academicians, industry personnel and our seniors too. .other then this a great attraction for us students are the several cultural programs that are organized by NFET.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of college in quite reasonable and it is inclusive of the lab works and expenses for internship as well as project works. Approximate the course fee for the first year in INR 60000 which includes the above-mentioned facilities as well as college tuition fees and library charges. The library and the labs are quite adequate to meet the requirements of our study and hence no extra expenses are incurred by students outside these, the other expenses in and around this college are not much.

Campus Life

4

Model presentation and competition- students are made to appear for a competition with science models developed by them. Students are then judged according to the models and are awarded by our dean and other judges. Science Model Exhibition - the various science models which are good and awarded are displayed to encourage other students to do the same. Students from other colleges are also made to attend the events. Tech Fest - Festival of technical events like Robotics, Circuit Design, Gaming, Coding, Debugging. Cultural Fest, ... extracurricular activities under Tech Fest, Cultural Fest. Dance Club, Music Club, etc are very active. Robotics is one of the strongest over here. Faculty members are good and friendly. overall the extracurricular activities inspire us for doing our best to compete and improve ourselves in further competitions and events.

Alumni/Alumna

The NFET provides us the scope to meet our alumni a couple of times during the academic year. This provides us a platform to interact and build a network which on a later stage helps us in better job placements. Alumni interactions are a regular event at NFET, This provides us a platform to interact and build a network which on a later stage helps us in better job placements. The senior students are quite helpful and are willing to provide employment scope for the junior students.

Admission

I got admitted through my JEE score. Accordingly, the college infrastructure was made for studying, at the first glance the environment of the campus was good and campus I applied for admission and got shortlisted. I was very happy with the admission process as it was assisted by the members of the college, they were quick to respond.

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months
