Remarks

NFET urges us to develop as a better professional by supplying the base. It gives us the scope of holistic developments besides providing jobs with a different organization, the soft skill development sessions attended at NFET goes a long way in polishing our skills and making us complete as a professional.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum promised to be ‘outcome-based learning’ and it delivered 100%. It is oriented towards industry requirements. Project work makes us ready for the industry. We get adequate practical exposure into the industry workings. The exam structure gives an in-depth understanding and propels towards industry necessities.

Placement Experience

3.5

I have seen my seniors of NFET have been placed in various industries right from manufacturing to technology to IT-based services. I hope the same will happen to me too and I will get a proper opportunity and be placed. I have experienced great industry training where I have practically gone for firsthand training in a renowned core company. Students are sent for industrial training in blue-chip companies.

College Events

4.5

Our college is a dynamic hub of events both academic and entertaining all year round. Through all the seminars and events that happen all around the year, we get a chance to meet industry stalwarts as well as seniors academicians from reputed engineering and technology colleges of the country. Apart from this, there are 10 functioning clubs where each and every student has the opportunity to show his/her talents. These clubs held events that are organized by NFET where we get a chance to express our thoughts to other fellow students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of college in quite reasonable and it is inclusive of the lab works and expenses for internship as well as project works. Approximate the course fee for the first year in INR 60,000 which includes the above-mentioned facilities as well as college tuition fees and library charges. The library and the labs are quite adequate to meet the requirements of our study and hence no extra expenses are incurred by students outside these, in this regard.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ample scholarships are given by the college to meritorious students on the basis of their percentage of marks secured in the last major examination i.e. we have to stay serious all year round to get the scholarship. ‘Asha Jyoti’ is one such scholarship which is provided by the college in this regard. As regards the educational loan, the college has tied up with certain banks who provide those educational loans after fulfilling certain basic criteria, with minimum documentation on a very prompt basis.

Campus Life

4

Tech Fest - Festival of technical events like Robotics, Circuit Design, Gaming, Coding, Debugging. Cultural Fest like Blits is also present. Campus life comprises of gaming including football, cricket, basketball, volleyball. Every year, we have a national sports championship. Robotics is one of the strongest over here. Apart from that we also have Dance Club as well as Music Club and various other clubs which are equally active. Faculty members are good and friendly. Science Model competition - students are made to appear for a competition with science models developed by them. Faculty members help in doing project works and Management regularly interacts with faculty members to imbibe the sense of belonging. Science Model Exhibition - the various science models which are good and awarded are displayed to encourage other students to do the same. Students are then judged according to the models and are awarded. Students from other colleges are also made to attend the events.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year NFET provides us the opportunity to meet our alumni. This provides us a platform to interact and build a network which on a later stage helps us in better job placements. The senior students are quite helpful and are willing to provide employment scope for the junior students.

Admission

I got admitted through my JEE Main score. Accordingly, as I liked the college looking at its infrastructure and campus I applied for admission and got shortlisted. I was very happy with the admission process as it was assisted by members of the college. It was prompt and quick.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are approachable and helpful. They help us not only with the syllabus but also provide us an in-depth understanding of the industry. Faculties are especially caring and attentive towards practical project works with timely industry interface and valuable inputs. A special mention should definitely be made in regard to the help that we receive in personal development and grooming in soft skills which helps us in job interviews.

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months
