HOD I.T(Ms. Ashima Mehta) is an excellent HOD of the department. Her management skills are commendable. Professors in the department are very helping. They never hesitate to help students even if they have to walk an extra mile for them. I will always be grateful to them. Training & Placement officer(Renu ma'am) helps students to get placed in the best companies. I got placed in 2 companies out of which 1 company is a renowned multinational. Thanks to Renu ma'am for that! Principal sir (Dr. BMK Prasad) is a soft-spoken person and a problem solver.

Exams are held monthly(internal exams) and end of semester exams(external exams). Internal exams help to prepare better for external exams as every month we revise the syllabus. Students have to make projects which are to be submitted at the end of the 7th semester. Also, projects automatically attract student's research skills and creative thinking.

I got placed in 2 companies through on-campus placement drives. Students are given plenty of job opportunities here, and they can select the job as per their needs. The training and placement department puts extraordinary efforts to provide placements to each and every student before the completion of their course.

Events to be celebrated are: 1. Sports day- includes games like a Treasure hunt, Rangoli competition, etc and other sports activities 2. Women's day- includes stage play/drama/skit, different dances (solo/group) followed by cake cutting by guests 3. CSI events- includes all technical events

Fees of odd semesters are 54,000/- and even semesters is 45,000/- = 99,000/- (Total fees per year). Bus fee charges are as per the distance (Maximum is 18,000/- per semester). Also, I am in 2015-2019 batch and fee structure has been changed for the upcoming batches.

I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. Though for upcoming batches scholarships are available as per the score/marks obtained in grade 12.

Campus life is very amazing. Things for a fresher are easier as a discipline in college is at utmost priority. They are in a very protective environment for more than a semester. Lunch timings and bus seats are different for fresher and senior students. Any professor is approachable to student/parent anytime irrespective of their department.

Alumni network is maintained. Alumni meets are held. Senior students are very helpful in terms of academics/internships/jobs.

I got admission in Dronacharya College of Engineering through my JEE-mains score and PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) percentage. I am in the I.T department. The entire process is explained on the official website of the college and contact number is also available.

Faculty members in all departments are very supportive. Faculty members of the IT department are very experienced, supportive and caring towards students. The HOD of the IT department, Ms. Ashima Mehta teaches students software engineering excellently and helps students out the way. All the subjects are taught to students according to the curriculum.
