A deep dive into Chandigarh University

The way of teaching is the most important thing and here at Chandigarh University, you will get top teaching services with presentations prepared by teachers, various seminars are held for uplifting the course curriculum along with expert talks. The whole course curriculum not only limits to subjects included in our field but also provide various online courses for skill development.

There are various opportunities offered by different companies. Students even visit different industries related to their field for internships . There are several hackathons , tech fests where students can put up their ideas for innovation.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester A lot of well known companies lyk Amazon, Flipkart, Nescafe, britania, Google etc visit our campus and provide a lot of opportunities for students. The only criteria for placements is to maintain a good cgpa . Cgpa acts as a base for further process. Atleast 80% students get placement in reputed companies.

As per my course, bsc Hons microbiology, the total fee structure is 1113000 per year and on giving their entrance plus scholarship test , I was able to grab 30% scholarship easily. The registration fees for cucet entrance is 1000rs. The mode of exam is both online and offline . Other than that , if you are opting for hostel then there will be two options , either 4-seater or 3-seater . 4-seater room charges 120000 per year and 3 seater room charges 140000 per year. They provide financial aid to students which can be accessed through cucet page after giving the entrance exam. Moreover, examination fee is of 2500rs and security fee 2000rs

The social and cultural life at Chandigarh University is just at another level. You will be able to see a lot of events going on around the campus. Be it any cultural event or sports , they have made advancements in every field . There are at least 10 libraries with access to innumerable books . E-books are available too. There are various sports events too including that of badminton basketball, cricket etc.

Hostel facility is moderate. The quality of food at mess is moderate too . You can't expect a rich taste . Room facilities include a bed, 3-tier cupboard , air coolers and a study table. You can get access to wifi too. Currently the meal quality is not very good . The registration process for hostel can be done through cuims ( their management system) which is accessible to students once registration is done.

I applied to DU , Graphic era University and jaipur University. I had applied to them throught cuet exam but since the result came very late and not wanting to waste any time , I applied to Chandigarh University through Cucet exam . No I didn't get rejection from other colleges but since the admission process was very simple and concise not requiring extra hard work that's why I chose this college. The admission process is simply through an entrance exam CUCET and registration fees is just 1000s. On securing a good score, you can avail scholarship too easily.

Faculty members' relationship with students is pretty good and they will help and guide you whenever required. Our biochemistry instructor Suradeep sir is much entertaining and will never let any class feel bored. His teaching skills are awesome. The lab faculties are also pretty much cooperative. There are majorly three exams held per semester starting from Mst1 and Mst 2 , which are 20 marks each and then semester end exam which covers the entire syllabus from the very first to last. The exam difficulty can be said easy to moderate.
