Likes

Teachers and staff was very supportive. They were always ready to help in academics
Time table of college was perfect students could get break between lectures
Library is also fine there were all the books available

Dislikes

Lack for college functions. There were very less functions organised

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all biotechnology is very advanced field plus this requires well educated teachers, lab assistants who were available in dyal singh college moreover, there are a few visits to research institutes.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 20300 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies came for internships and many students of medical field applied for internships in National dairy research institute of India. Some students got internship in kalpna Chawla hospital and many other laboratories

Fees and Financial Aid

For bsc biotechnology I had to pay 20300 in first year and in 2nd year I paid 16440 and same in my 3rd(final) yr this fees is for general category Students those who belong from sc/st categories can get a good scholarship

Campus Life

There were very less festival celebration in college campus College campus is not so big There were no such students clubs or groups for extra curricular activities There was only sports day in dyal singh college

Admission

In karnal dyal singh far better than other colleges because the placement opportunities are more in dyal singh college . So I just applied in this college only because the admission process was quite easy and I was eligible for the course and the course I wanted to pursue i.e bsc biotechnology. This college provide better facilities than other colleges in karnal

Faculty

Faculty members were very educated plus supportive they were always there to support students Personally I liked my zoology (Dr shweta) and botany(Dr. Aditi Shreya Bali) teacher because there teaching methods were just amazing If I talk about other faculty members they were also good there was not any single teacher that I don't like There are 2 papers of each subject (botany zoology and biotechnology) level of exams was fine they were not too tough and checking was perfect

Highs and Lows in AUH

Placement Experience:

1) Placement drive portal is open for stdents from their 5th semester (for 3-year student) or 7th (for 4-year student) and is available for UG and Pg, the latter of which can apply anytime during their second year. 2) Recruitment companies which I've noticed during drives are Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Coca-cola, McKinsey, Airtel, etc. 3) The highest packages which are around 45 LPA is mostly given to B.Tech and MBA students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I recently preparing for JEE exam, but my percentile is too low, so i just take admission in b.sc physics , after completion of my course , I will give IIT JAM exam, which is for M.Sc in specific subject in IIT. College is fully supporting me in my studies. There is some other bad things , not in college but in NEP 2020 (govt. Of India) that other minor subject like zoology, EVS are tought to a physics major student.

Perfect phase of life

Placement Experience:

College placements are quite good for technical courses and management courses. Last year students are eligible for placement and from the 2nd year you are eligible for internships provided by colleges in different companies with good stipends. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, big MNCs gave many offers to College students. Highest package was 26 LPA and the average package was 4 LPA. Almost 40% of students got placed. My plan is to get my post-graduation.

Remarks:

It is one of the best college under MDU rohtak, and also provide both BSc. Honors And MSc. From physics as a subject in Rohtak under MDU. Apart from all this, MDU provides best sportsmanship and also NCC to the students, to avail these types of benefits i have decided to take admission to this college.

Dyal singh - A reminiscent dream

I didn't apply much but yes i applied for government college and dav college in karnal but i found dyal singh the best one in karnal with a rating of A+ grade from Naac. Earlier I wasn't very much sure of it but now it feels this was really a good choice as the faculty the environment the course everything is so superb i started enjoyed. I didn't want to leave my home town so I applied through the online hse portal and i got my name in the first merit list . After that i submitted my documents and all the requirements.
