Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be a civil engineer so i choose this course it is a very interesting course which deals with great knowledge nd interesting things teaching methods are great and the timing of exams are 6 months each

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 187000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship available which is swami vivekananda for students which is 60k per year and the caution fees is 5k which will be returned when passing registration fees is 50k and lab fees are free

Campus Life

There are many curricular activities such as music dance kabadi volleyball cricket and many other activities as well wide range of things are there to enjoy as well as library as pretty good range of books the facilities in college are great

Admission

I feel this college is very good than others as it has good infrastructure and the admission process is wbjee and cutoff is not much overall experience of mine was so good and i didn't get rejected in other college instead this college has good placement

Faculty

Teachers are very skilled nd the teacher student interaction is very good the relationship between both are very nice exams are moderate course curriculum is great i liked all the faculties not many fail in exam

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements.
