Remedial coaching has facilitated peer learning, pair learning, and group discussion too.
2011a new hostel has been constructed. nearly 300 students are benefited by two hostels available in the college campus

Dislikes

The buildings are bad in the college.teaching style is not so good
In this college the rest room is very bad there is no water supply inth rest room
No neetness in the restroom in the college the auditorium is very small

I like the subject English So I decided to take the English literature English literature has 6 subject In first year we have both English and tamil language classes Then we have to study grammer, Then history about literature of English authors We have the seminar for all the subjects They teach us to attend the exam without any fear

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are Rs.15,000 per annum which makes it to Rs.45,000on a total for a period of three years . HOSTEL FEES-UG students Rs.7500. PG students Rs.8000, SCHOLARSHIP:In the year 2019-2020,566students received sc/ST scholarship, 984students benefitted of backward class scholarship, 7students got central government scholarship,and 74studends received Rani Mangammal scholarship, merit students got merit scholarship. I am apply for another college but because of my mark I choose this college And also this college fees are no expensive then the other colleges The fees of these college are affordable price only Because of our parents financial problem only I choose this government college Admission is very easy in this college

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures.
