Likes

Teachers ate helpful and understanding regarding assignment.
Not that much strictness in 3rd and 4th year for the attendance
Sports day is celebrated annually and certificates are provided to students

Dislikes

Rarely any functions or fests are celebrated in the clg.
Small campus, small ground, gaming room is locked opens after asking only

I chose b.tech in computer science when took admission as there is much scope in it if compared to other courses on btech like mechanical or electrical. Frequency of Exams are after every 3 months a time. In a semester, one midterm and one final exm.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I got my 100% scholarship in 1st and second year through merit-cum-means scholarship provided by kejriwal scheme. But later kejriwal closed the scheme, but students were able to get EWS scholarship which refunds 50% of annual fees. But for any of the scholarship u must have to score more than 65% in your semester exams

Campus Life

Campus is too short. There is nothing in Campus to hang with your friends there in hmritm. A small playground in avaliable and a small parking is avaliable in backside of college for bikes and scooties. But if u have car u have to park outside of clg.

Admission

I got this college in second spot round through ggsipu shortlist site for students for admission process. Since i had 4 lakh rank in jee mains which is not that good so i have to pick hmritm which is located near hamidpur,bakoli and hard to rech there.

Faculty

Courses available are for btech in computer science, mechanical, electrical, Ai etc Faculties are helpful and understanding regarding assignment and attendance Libraries provides books free Midterm exam sheets are check strictly but they pass everyone

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

placements are rather nice ,specially of tech branch is quite nice , from what semester we are eligible , most students are from 5th semester eligible for internship and from 7th for actual placements , lot of companies do visit : sometimes bain ,mckinsey ,samsung,xiamo. otherwise local companies tcs , tata etc . lot of startup are coming nowdays which are offering lot of things. highest package was 80 lpa around by samsusng as far i remember for ai, ml enginner . percentage of student getting placed for my branch is around 70%. my plans would be to get internship in 5th semester and then make it a ppo

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

MAIT - The Goods and The Bads

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

I have applied for JEE entrance examination and I have scored 65 percentile in JEE examination and then I applied in GGSIPU for addmission then according to my percentile during 4 rounds of councelling I got HMRITM college and then I went to college and do all the process to join the college and the fees of first year was 135700 in which 10000 is the security amount which will be returned after completion of graduation and next three years fees will pe 125700 respectively...Read More
