Likes

It was easy to complete the examination.
The examination are always conducted on Saturday and Sundays
I was able to get my degree in midst of my professional degree

Dislikes

The process of getting the registration.
Everything always takes so much time to be done.
It's always confusing to get things done as there were no instructions available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Each semester is conducted with a time gap of 6 months. The timing of exams would be morning 9 am to 12 pm or in the afternoon 2pm to 5 pm only on Saturday and Sunday. In my opinion the difficulty level is not that high.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for per semester is Rs.7000 and that makes to 14000 per year. In whole for three years it is 52000. I am not eligible for any scholarship due to my caste. There was exam fee of 650 per semester which is seperate from fee.

Campus Life

I opted for distance education as I also have my professional degree going on. So I don't think I am eligible to answer this question. I pretty much visited college during the admission and submission of few papers.

Admission

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I applied here only. The administration process is lengthy and quite confusing. There would be huge queues and no proper guidance for what to do. Overall the process is same in mostly all the colleges.

Faculty

There were 6 papers per semester. Like that there would be 6 semesters which makes the total number of exams to 36. In addition there would be internal assessment. This will be available before each exam. The exams were pretty easy for me. The course curriculum could be more relevant to present situation.

As i have chose the path of chartered accountancy.. In order to have a degree i chose bcom and for correspondence facility i chose madras university as it was much preferred by everyone who prefer to do distance education.
