Likes

I enjoyed living in hostel and with friends.
I like to attend the classes and labs there
The teachers were also cooperative and friendly.

Dislikes

Morning classes were too much difficult to attend
Mess food was like ok it's not good to eat
Going to class which was at 4th floor in building

Course Curriculum Overview

There were various subjects which were of another branch and we are forced to study those subjects even the core branch students didn't study those subjects. We were forcefully reading those subjects.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1,18,000 per year fees of the candidate per year.it is a 4 year course.I had done bachelor of Technology in computer Science and Engineering branch. The fees was around 60000 per semester.and the message fees was 4000 per month.

Campus Life

I was the Technical Head of NIST ASTRONOMY CLUB and it was the best club. I enjoyed very much during the three years of the club. We did many events throughout the year and enjoyed a lot during the journey.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees was 20 thousand and the room and beds were good but the not good and i enjoyed with my friends there and lived a memorable moments during the journey of life and enjoyed the real life experience.

Admission

I chose this college because it was near to me around 25km from my house. As it was near to me i choose this college. It is the best college among my locality so i choose this college because it was near to my house

Faculty

There were ample amount of teachers in college each one with different aspects and the exam were strict and good by which one can focus on its own paper. Exams were easy and it's mid term and end term and quizes and assignment

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Life at NIST

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
