One of the best college in North India

Overall, MNNIT is one of the good and reputed college in North India. Mainly due to efforts of its students. Faculty is experienced and companies offer great placement offers here specially if you are in computer science branch.

AIEEE, In my time, AIEEE was conducted for admissions in NITs. I got 257/360 marks and an AIR of 3030 and opted for Mechanical Engineering in MNNIT. The Reason for selecting the college was its renowned name specially for core branches. Also it was closer to my home.

Course and curriculum is in accordance with most IITs. The best thing of college is its scheduling. In my 4 year course duration here, Never a change in academic calender was there. Everything is pre-planned and is well executed.

Internship opportunities for Computer science, information technology is abundant. For core branches its limited. last year companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Codenation, Adobe, Direct-i, Arista Networks and many more visited for internships and around 80% strength got internship with stipend as high as 1.25 lakhs offered by codenation to 25k/month by flipkart.

Placement for CSE and IT is too good. 100% placement for these branches with average package around 9 lakh is achieved each year.For core branches, placement is fair enough. 70% batch gets placed with average package around 6 lakhs.

Every year, a technical Fest named "AVISHKAR" and one cultural fest named "CULRAV" is organised. Apart from these, annual athletic Meet, Sports meet named "JOSH and J LAL" and many more cultural and academic events are organised throughout the year.

Free structure at my time was pretty much feasible or as i say one among lowest of all. I have to pay 23k as tution fee and 13k as mess fee per semester. Now the fee has been hiked to around 50k for tution fee and 13k for mess fee.

SBI has its own branch in college which provides loan facility to college students. Also there is VIJAYA bank in college to provide loan facility. Apart from loan, college provides a yearly scholarship of 20k to financially backward students.Also state scholarships are provided.

There are a no. of clubs for extracurricular activities like Music club, Robotics Club, Aero modeling club, Computer centre is just awesome and you get one of fastest internet here in india.Gender ratio is not that good, comapred to boys no. of girl students is less. Various parties are organised by groups of states like Marathi treat, Bengali treat. And also various welcome party for 1st year students and farewell to final year students is organised.

Hostel Rooms for 1st year is awesome. 7 storey Mega Hostel is given for 1st year where 1 room is shared by 4 people. 2nd year and 3rd year 1 room is shared by 2 students and in final year single bed rooms are given.Mess food is not too great but is hygien

Alumni Network is good. Seniors are very helpful and will help you whenever asked for. They contribute to alumni funds which is used for various infra development projects in college. They even help you in getting internships and jobs in various companies they are working in.

Exam structure is pretty simple. Per semester, 2 exams are there- one Mid semester and 1 End semester. Lab exams are conducted at the end of semester only.Absolute grading system is there in the college.

Faculties and well experienced specially in core branches. Though in my opinion its the students of college who have helped to build the reputation of college.
