THE CAMPUS HERE IN PARUL UNIVERSITY IS AMAZING , ITS LIKE A FESTIVAL EVERYTIME AROUND A YEAR.
THERE ARE A LOT OF PLAYING GROUNDS FOR EACH AND EVERY OUTDOOR AND INDOOR GAMES.
THE FEST AND EVENTS ARE ALSO SUPER AMAZING.YOU SHOULD ATTEND.

Dislikes

THERE IS NOT A PROPER DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN HERE.A SMALL AMOUNT OF RAINFALL CAUSE A LITTLE FLOOD.
THERE IS NO TRANSPORT FOR STUDENTS IN THE CAMPUS.
THE FOOD QUALITY OF THE FAST FOOD CHAIN IS NOT GOOD.

SINCE I WAS A BIOLOGY STUDENTS I ALWAYS WANT TO EXPLORE MY EXPERIENCE IN MY FIELD. AND I CHOOSE THIS COURSE AT PARUL UNIVERSITY BECAUSE OF THE FEES STRUCTURE AND THE PLACEMENTS.THERE WILL BE 3 EXAMS HAPPENING EVERY SEMESTER LIKE WEEKLY EXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED IN SEPTEMBER AND AFTER THE WEEKLY EXAM A WEEK AFTER THERE WILL BE THE MID SEM.AND IN DECEMBER THERE WILL BE END SEM.

IF YOU WANT TO TAKE PART IN PARUL UNIVERSITY THERE ARE CERTAIN STEPS. FIRST YOU HAVE TO FILL UP THE REGISTRATION FORM OF RS 500/-. THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY RS 10000/- FOR SEAT ALLOCATION. THEN YOU HAVE TO SELECT ANY COURSE WHICH YOU WANT TO TAKE. FOR EXAMPLE BTECH BIOTECHNOLOGY THE FEES OF THE FIRST SEMESTER WILL BE RS 74500/- WHICH INCLUDE THE SEAT ALLOCATION FEES. AND RS 74500 FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER. AND THIS WILL INCLUDE THE LAB FEES , DEVELOPMENT FEES ETC. FOR SCHLORSHIP THERE IS CERTAIN ELIGIBILITY LIKE YOU HAVE TO SCORE MORE THAN 65% IN YOUR CLASS 12TH BOARDS EXAMINATION AND ACCORDING TO YOUR MARKS THE SCHOLARSHIP WILL BE GIVEN. THE HOSTEL IN THE CAMPUS IS GOOD. IT PROVIDE 3 TIME FOOD, LAUNDRY , 24 HOURS ELECTRICITY AND EVERYDAY CLEANING OF YOUR ROOMS.TALKING ABOUT THE MEAL AND MENU ITS NOT GOOD BUT IS MANAGEABLE.FOR REGISTRATION OF HOSTEL YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE FULL FEES OF HOSTEL OF A YEAR AT STARTING IN 1 TIME BUT IS AFFORDABLE.

THERE ARE 3 COLLEGES THAT I APPLY FOR THAPAR UNIVERSITY , MANIPAL JAIPUR AND PARUL UNIVERSITY. THE REASON THAT I REJECT THAPAR UNIVERSITY AND MANIPAL UNIVERSITY BECAUSE OF THE COST OF TUTION FEES IS VERY HIGH OF BOTH THE COLLEGES. AND PARUL IS AFFORDABLE TO ME AND I'VE HEARD THE STUDY AND PLACEMENT AROUND HERE IS QUIET GOOD.AND IF YOU WANT TO TAKE ADMISSON IN PARUL UNIVERSITY YOU JUST HAVE TO PASS THE 12TH BOARDS EXAMINATION AND THERE IS NOT ANYTYPE OF EXAMS , INTERVIEWS FOR THE ADMISSION IN PARUL UNIVERSITY.

THE FACULTY MEMBERS ARE QUIET GOOD , THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PROPER EXPRIENCE . THE FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO IS 15:1. LIKE FROM WHAT I EXPERIENCE THE REMEDIAL BIOLOGY TEACHER DR. SANI KUMAR AND MATHEMATICS TEACHER DR.NITYANGINI JHALA IS THE BEST AROUND HERE ITS BECAUSE OF THEIR TEACHING SKILLS AND THE WAY OF INTERACTION WITH THE STUDENTS.THE ELECTRONIC WORKSHOP TEACHER IS NOT QUIET GOOD BECAUSE OF HIS WAY OF SPEAKING AND PRONOUNCING IS NOT WELL.THERE ARE LIKE 3 EXAM HAPPENING EVERY SEMESTER.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

FROM 6 TH SEMESTER THE STUDENTS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT THE COMPANY THAT CAME FOR CAMPUS PALCEMENTS ARE INFOSYS,IBM,TCS ETC. THE HIGHEST PALCEMENT IS IN THIS YEAR IS 25 LAKH 95 PERCENT STUDENTS GET PLACED AFTER THE DEGREE IS WILL BEACOME A CORPORATE SLAVE

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

all faculty member is good give the best lecture.it is government college so all faculty come in the college
in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

in the college many class room is old fashion like feel like you stay in the village.

My Life at D.D.I.T

The campus life is great as the atmosphere it consquires is way better than the three experiences I have had at Maharaja sayaji rao university of vadodara, Vishwakarma government Engineering college and Parul University respectively. The atmosphere
The atmosphere cultivates studying and friendly competition Between the peers,it doesn't quench that competitive Nature and rather it amplifies it, also the boy girl ratio is good.
The faculties are the best, and it's not just me all the students feel that way as some faculty are from IITS and some are very experienced and have had decades of research experience in that field.

Dislikes

I think here you focus a lot more on studies rather than extra curricular activities so I think that can be improved
There are too many lectures in a day, conpared to my friends in svit I have around 2 hours worth more of lectures
The wifi and connectivity and there being counsellors is stated but it not implemented intensively

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

IIT Gandhinagar from the eyes of a First Year

Likes

The Sports Complex is a major highlight of IIT Gandhinagar.
The Campus Amenities are top notch and it is a fully green Campus.
Faculties are Expert in their Respective Fields and teach very well.

Dislikes

The Course Load is very High and you will get very less free Time.
The Exams are quite challenging and you have to keep thinking out of the box.
Some lectures such as World Civilization and Cultures are very boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements this year have become better. 4th Years are sitting for Placements right now. Top companies include Infosys, Oracle, De Shaw, Nvidia, etc. All Data is available in the Placement Report which is available on the IIT Gandhinagar Website. Till May 4, 2024 69 % Students have been placed. I plan to go for a masters after my degree.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage
