Likes

We experience direct exposure with the patients which help us to learn the diseases practically
The library has a vast diversity of medical and non medical books and also have medical journals
The teachers are doctors themselves that are in practice now

Dislikes

The hospital premises are unclean at some points
Sometimes due to high patient flow in hospital the doctors cannot attend the classes

The course consists a total duration of 5½ years of which the starting 4½ years is study along with postings and the final 1 year is internship. The exam is held only once in the last of every academic year.

We can get into any of the college in andhra pradesh for internship it depends on our choice, our college has also internship opportunities where we are provided with 25000 salary every month. We can have lot of experience

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the entire course would be 70000. The fee of 1st year was 25000 and remaining years was 15000. There are also some scholarships provided by the government like jvd, etc., The college provides internship opportunity in the final year and provides a stipend of around 20 k to 25k

Campus Life

We have regular cultural and sports activities. We also have cultural and sports clubs. The classrooms are equipped with digital boards and we can access all the books and journals in library. Every year our management conduct college day which we celebrate for 1months

Hostel Facilities

For each room there will be 2 people , we are provided with cot, study table and almirah. We get a nutritious meal every day, we need to get admission first in the hostel and every month hostel fees is 1200-1300 and mess bill is 3400

Admission

I applied to only ranga raya medical college because of the patient exposure and Kakinada is near my place. I didn't get rejected from other colleges, as I got a better rank I could get in Andhra Medical College too. I got this got this college based on my NEET rank.

Faculty

The faculty teaching the students ae qualified doctors practifing in the hospital. They are well experienced and had high exposure to the patients in their lifetime. They explain every topic by sharing their real experiences with the patient in their practice.

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..
