Course Curriculum Overview

The decision to serve humanity influenced me to join this course. This course is considered most prestigious course, but still the doctors are paid less compared to other professions. The teaching method should be improved, teacher should interact with students with calmness.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided for one year to the students, in intership students are paid around ninety thousand rupees. Students have to work in out patient department. Students interact with patients and get knowlege about various disease.

1 lakh fees paid for second year.86,000 for first year mbbs Tuition fees is aroubd 80,000. Mess bill is around 23,000 Same fees for all categories. No Financial aid provided or no scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

Armscon is annual fest conducted every year,it includes cultural activities, dj night,and one day one star is called. Craze of sports is quite a lot,as the college is in haryana. Books and ipads are available in library.

Hostel Facilities

In rooms table,chair and bed is provided to each and every student. Meal quality is okayish,not much good. Menu includes Parathas, chai,milk in morning Chawal +daal/rajma/chole/khadi Roti+sabzi(beans/brinjal/bhindi/aalo)

Admission

To get eligible for this course,one should crack all india national eligibility entrance test. For general category one should to under 20,000 rank to get into a medical college. Reservation benefits are available for obc,sc,st communities.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is around is average,not that much great .for anatomy there are around 15 Faculty over 250 students,same goes for physiology and biochemistry. Some faculties have good teaching approach,others just demotivate students,don't teach properly. Teacher student interaction is limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure. Admission into the college is based on the neet ug counseling, both state and aiq Neet is the only acceptable exam Cutoff varies yearly, however upto 9k air in state quota and 3k in aiq can get you into this college.
