Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As post-covid world is going towards the technological advancement and more and more AI driven technology so one can have sufficient knowledge of technology to survive in the market irrespective of their background whether they belongs to technical background or not. So University curriculum is tech-oriented, so student can easily understand technology. Curriculum includes new trend of the market which helps student to match the requirements of the IT companies, also college organises expert session regularly which help student to learn new things. According to me University can include more AI-oriendted approaches in the curricular, curriculum is less AI-oriendted. There is no burder of exam and fear of exam on the student. If student is regular and active in the class that they can easily score 7-8 CPI.

Placement Experience

3.5

After the 4th semester of BCA, student can eligible to appear in the placements drives. Which means in the month of August or September compines are arrives for placements. But most of the student preferred to pursue master degree over placement so there is little number of student who appear in the placements. The average package is around 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs. Highest package offer in placement drive is around 5 lakhs. My advice to the student is to complete their master degree over placement greeds, because student who completed their master degree can experience more opportunities and more increment in job profiles.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for student who is applying for BCA is as follows, 56000 tution fees, 1000 library charges and 500-1000 as registration fees. Other than this exam fee for per semester is 550 for each external exam. Other than this there is no additional or hidden fee. Student who belongs to SC/ST category are eligible for 100% scholarship, which means that get 56000 as a scholarship by applying with state government scholarship scheme (FREE-SHIP CARD) (Digital Gujrat scholarship) Student belonging to OBC category are eligible for scholarship around 20,000 per year but it is based on their 12th percentage and other criteria via Digital Gujrat Schlorship or MYSY Schlorship.

Campus Life

3.5

Youth festivals, science fair, annual day celebration, teachers day celebration and other are the event that regularly happens once in a year. Facilities available in the classroom :- classroom are fully ventilated, each class have atleast one AC along with projector for teaching purpose. College is not good enough for the student who want to participate in sport activities and extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility provided by the institution is good, room shared by 4 or 5 student belonging to same class. Menu of the mess is average not too good nor worst, but sometimes student have to compromise with the quality of the food, once in a 15 days there is feast in the mess. If student don't want to stay in hostel than there is PG facilities are also available near college campus

Admission

Normal eligibility criteria for student to get admission as they can clear board exam with minimum 55% irrespective of their stream, Student can easily approaches admission cell for the admission or they can get update from official website of University. Student have to apply offline for get into the college. Semester exams are not too hard for the regular student, is student belong to Gujrati medium than he can face some language Barrie for 1 or 2 semester after that any student can easily score above average marks with little more efforts.

Faculty

5

There is limited bench strength in college so student can easily approach to faculty which increase overall development of student as they can communicate with faculty one to one. Some faculty member have professional background which means they have good experience of IT job so thay knows better about the trends of the market Student can approach to faculty or mentor at any time (obviously othe than lunch breaks), and faculty also give their honest effort for overall development of student.

Remarks:

Advantages: without these new opportunities, many students would never have realized a college degree was still possible. The advantages include: 1. Reduced Cost The competitiveness for enrolling students in online courses (or to complete degree programs), literally from across the globe, has created a marketplace that enables students to enroll in almost any course provided by dozens of institutions. This competition has driven both the cost to the institution and the price for the student downward due to almost unlimited enrollments. 2. Accessibility Similarly, the online course environment and proliferation of such opportunities enables students to enroll in courses at multiple times during the calendar year and to complete the required work for each course on their own time, that is, around work, family and other personal obligations. Students are also able to complete courses at a single location, usually their own home, a library or some other designated space. The alleviation of time and space restrictions for learning is a tremendous enhancement to this degree completion opportunity. 3. Fulfillment of Dreams Perhaps the most significant of the results associated with these opportunities for many students is the realization they are able to earn a degree, which might have seemed unattainable until now. Many of the barriers to completion are removed from their paths and a college degree is suddenly within reach. Disadvantages: capitalizing on these opportunities may come with some risk. The consumer of any commodity must always acknowledge the “buyer beware” warning label, and this is unfortunately also true with higher education. Some disadvantages (warnings) include: 1. Inflated Expectations (especially for transfer) Sometimes students may become so enthralled with their new opportunities for courses they might make assumptions about how their newly-earned credits will apply to their previous degree program or transfer to the institutions they previously attended. Academic policies at a former institution might allow for limited courses taken at other institutions, have time limits on specific courses or have substantial changes in degree requirements. Clearly, students must confer with the institution from which they intend to earn a degree before enrolling in courses. 2. Coherence of the Degree Program When students take advantage of the multiple and varied opportunities for completing courses that enable them to advance their degree, they often succumb to the simple criterion of availability — if it meets a requirement, it’s okay. This principle might be true, but the relationships of the total curriculum could easily be lost in the disconnectedness of taking courses from many different sources. This is not to say students do not learn from each course, but that the integration of course content may not be obvious when left to the individual students to infer. 3. Vulnerability Unfortunately, there are course and degree “providers” engaged in this new opportunity that are not as ethical, or even legitimate, as most are. Misleading advertising can be very compelling to the eager and unsuspecting student, especially since there has been so much positive press about these expectations and opportunities. However, diploma mills do exist, and the student is responsible to verify a provider’s status. Also, some institutions may mask their lack of specific accreditation(s) in order to attract unsuspecting students. Such accreditations can be especially relevant in professional and licensure programs, and even in traditional liberal arts and science, business, health care and other areas.
