Remarks

In my opinion, overall I think the college is best for a laborious student in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is almost better in this college. Exam structure is good, every semester there are two internal tests is conducted as well as two class test is also conducted and viva-voice also mandatory for all the student, it is very helpful for the student to give the final semester examination.

Placement Experience

The placement is almost good and there are many companies like Tata Steel, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Genpact, and many more companies came for the requirement and placed the student.

College Events

For new freshers induction program is conducted for the 10 days, freshers day (prarambh), Vishwakarma puja, frolic (annual sports meet), debate competition, essay writing competition, photography competition, provenance 2.0 (techno-cultural fest), almost each and every student take part in this type of events and win exciting prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in this college is affordable. semester fee-40300/-, hostel fee-27300/-per year, mess fee-2300(per month), transportation fee-1300. There is also provided a scholarship for all the student according to their academic performance per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly I got a scholarship from the college by getting admission through jcece and also getting a scholarship from e-Kalyan (Jharkhand government).

Campus Life

Campus life is almost good, the gender ratio is about 70:30, there are many ways for enjoyment like in campus area there is a shopping center and canting (hang out) where a student can go and chill. There are so many computer labs like a language lab and CP lab etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee-27000/-(per year), it is feasible.first of all there is a separate hostel for boys and girls and also a separate hostel for 1st yr,2nd yr,3rd yr,4th yr student. There are many facilities which are given in the hostel like Wi-Fi, cold and normal purified drinking water, etc.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and senior students are very good and always touch to their juniors and help their juniors at any time.

Admission

I have to give the exam of jcece which is conducted by the Jharkhand government. Then I passed the exam of jcece and go through the counseling process which is held in Ranchi then I choose the RVS college of engineering and technology in the counselling process. then I got admission in this college.

Faculty

Faculty members are very good and helping in nature, they are very experienced, and they teach very well and they are very cooperative in nature, the explanation of any kind of question in a very easy manner that which you can understand very well, workshop teachers, lab teachers, and staff members is also very cooperative and helpful.

Campus location is good but there is shortage of shops.
Professor are good and supportive and you can keep bike sk questions whenever you needed.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so good and if you taking hostel it is compulsory to take mess
Transpotation facility is not so good and you

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are allowed for internship and about the placement is about 5 to 6 lpa .Many students here are preparing for government exam like gate ,ies isro ,barc etc. And if you are not satisfied by placement from campus you can try off campus.

At the starting phase of college , we have a beautiful campus (which is not ours actually , its on rent ) loacted at Namkum, Ranchi. known as JUT campus, but after that things are not good.
Some what I liked the sports culture, but we don't have any sports Club yet.

Dislikes

Placements(actually there are students who are the coordinators for the placement group , there is no any particular advisor or any TPO head is there earlier...now there is one TPO coordinator but things are becoming worst there.
No grounds for any sports, we don't have badminton court indoors, so we have to wait for wind to settle before we can play outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)

I like their rules and regulation of college.
I like the annual sports, event, and cultural program.
Regular classes, labs, and time to time internal exams

Dislikes

Thing that I don't like is hostal cleaning, mesh food.
I think there is more rules and regulation for senior boys hostels.
From senior boys hostel they pass some comment to the girls

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the proper mindset from the class I chose to study btech. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum are more labs to be conducted proper smart classes to be held.

the greenery of college campus is very nice
the environment of the college is very good
college library staffs are very well behaved

Dislikes

the faculty is not up to the mark , u will not be satisfied by their teaching
student intake is very very less so you will experience less competition
the college campus is beautiful yet very small

Placement Experience:

yes campus placement is offered . the average package is about 7 to 8 lakhs in C.S.E , the placement rate is about 90% for which above 7.5 CGPA is required . The placement rate for E.C.E and E.E.E are also decent .

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement.The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students,the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus,some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus,infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.
