What Students Say
Likes
- It gives me a environment of how people think help me to understand how to collaborate with new people, also some teachers always motivate to do something better in life
- Fixed timetable, nice canteen, huge campus
- Sometimes they motivate us to plan an event which improves our soft skills
Dislikes
- Late response from management body for any issue
- Paper leaks, which is injustice for students like us who prepare themselves for exams
Course Curriculum Overview
In my first year, they provided us with Python language, c language, computer fundamentals, and troubleshooting, along with 6 practicals, which was great to learn. But now in the second year, they provide only electrical subjects, which I think is not useful for us in our career, we have only one coding subject named DSA otherwise rest of the subjects are just electrical subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently, my parents are paying 110000, and as all types of engineering colleges come with the same environment, higher fees but no quality education, it doesn't mean that our college doesn't have any good teachers but the fact is, they are minimal. There are merit-based scholarships.
Campus Life
Raisoni is famous for their events, and being a joint secretary of the tech club, I know how the event is managed and handled, our college provides the basic facilities to each and every club so that they can manage their event peacefully, the sports events are also key features of our campus, because of large campus they conduct a large number of sports. Overall raisoni is a good option if you are searching for an event-pack college
Admission
I take direct admission, on my campus, which means it doesn't matter how much you scored in your entrance exam if you have money in your pocket you can get Direct admission, and I know it's my fault, my 12th marks are the real reason for my this type of admission, but despite of that tremendous amount, I don't get much benefit.
Faculty
As per my experience first year, I understand that a lower faculty-to-student ratio is always better because in our case we have a 1:70: faculty-to-student ratio, which directly affects the quality of education, moving on the faculties credentials, some faculties are very good in their field, they are PhD holder, but some of them just cleared their MTech and don't have that much teaching experience. If you ask me how much I interact with them, then I would say as little as possible because the interaction was not that much productive which I expected.
