Remarks

College management were struck on academics, attendance, but libral on other activities they want their student got placed in best industries & got opportunities in their relevant field.

UPTU , My Rank was 3000 approx and i have to join the colleges in kanpur only than i choose psit.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus and structure of course are quite useful for many examination like GATE , Other PSU like NTPC, ONGC, government bodies BSNL . They also relevant for research work Ph.D and all.

Placement Experience

I passed in 2009 and on that time their was so much recession in IT industry , i got off campus placement . but the joining was so delayed .on that time very few students were placed but the current scenario was totally changed in this time around 300 + student placed in Infosys, TCS , L&T and many more company.

College Events

There were many activity organised on that time like freshers party, Ignetia the annual fest, sports meets, conferences, Guest lectures, Test etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive for poor peoples but feasible for middle class as well uper class families but overall compare to all engineering colleges in kanpur region it is quite high but compare to all best colleges of UPTU itis feasible.

Yes for brighter student their was an scholership facility , as well as for poor peoples scholarship comes by samaz kalyan vibhag.

Campus Life

Their was an good ratio b/w girls and boys 20/40(G/B). Labs were good i also participated in robotics competition and got runner up prize they are very good.

Alumni/Alumna

My senior's are so cooperative they not only help on those days but also help today they all were connected through Facebook PSITien group and usually send new openings , new things on that group share valuable things.

Exam Structure

It was scheduled in very proper manner so we never feel that it was very hactic.

Faculty

They are like God for us actually where i stand right now this is only because of my parents and Their wishes.

Average college not bad and not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

KMCLU Lucknow : Experience of Campus and Academics

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

I choose this college on the basis of my JEE mains rank and marks/percentile and also due to counselling i got this college as it is not so far from my home town and also due to hearing more about this college from others about their discipline , strictness and so on but actually i know about this college when i got addmission to this as 90% attendence policy mandatory whereas in the other colleges the attendence criteria is only 75% and also the rule and regulation are very strict as you feel like you are trapped in the college....Read More

LIFE AT PSIT - PLACE WHERE KNOWLEDGE MEETS PASSION AND DETERMINATION

I applied to PSIT kanpur , AKGEC Ghaziabad , KIET Ghaziabad and Galgotias college for btech cse. I got confirmed seats at psit and galgotias. I choose PSIT as it has a better campus , good study plan , high placement rate, and strong link with top firms . The labs and infra are modern and the faculty is helpful. The peer group here is also very active and goal driven. i could not get seat at AKGEC and KIET due to high rank cut-offs, but i am happy with PSIT as it gives good valaue for my jee score....Read More
