EAMCET Exam taken and while counselling the college was opted. GMRIT provides its learning community state-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure and a competent faculty. The Institute encourages collaborative learning between industry and academia as a means of reinforcing its curriculum with practical and real world experiences.

Course Curriculum Overview

GMRIT has a highly-specialised Computer Science Department that exposes students to a broad range of subjects involving advanced computer engineering and its application in industry. The curriculum relies heavily on industry-academia interaction and responds to the current needs and trends in the global software industry. Annual intake of this department is 120 students.

Placement Experience

GMRIT’s Training, Placement and Development Cell plays a critical role in networking graduating students with the industry. It prepares the students for the process of recruitment and simultaneously create awareness among companies about the recruitment opportunities at GMRIT.

College Events

The Institute has affiliated with SPICMACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth). This helps create an awareness of cultural heritage of our country through various performances classical, contemporary and folk.

Good college with proper management

Placement Experience:

The placments are not good for this collges because it doesnt have any better managment for placments. from 7th semester majot placments starts. the companies visited are HCL,TCS, infosys,flipkart and so on. The highest pachage i heared is 5 lakhs and lowest is 2.5 LPA the percentage of students are getting placed is less due to lack of skills.My plan is to secure job from good company.

Vit Ap - Take a Look

Placement Experience:

Yes the placements are good in my college but for the students who study well , the collge almost have 5k students strength in final years it not possible to give all the students high paying jobs since the companies who pay higher recruit less students , But most of students are being placed but for low packages In the end of 3rd year the placements are started and most important thing is students are categorised by their CGPA so maintaining 9+ Cgpa is very important for high paying jobs There are almost more than 100 companies which visit our college and i dont the exact numbers , The highest package obtained by our college student is 80 lpa

I always had interest in computers so i choose this course ,and i feel the vit curriculum is best compared to other colleges according my friends insights ,we will be having a system called embedded lab which is teaching tools , software in parallel to the theory subject which prepare us for real life applications , we have quiz for internal marks conducted by our tearchers which is easy and we have 3 exams conducted by adminitration which are CAT 1 , CAT 2 , FAT Which are difficult

From the earlier 5th semester students become eligible for the campus placements who maintain the good attendance and 8 CGPA in the each semester in the previous years the highest package obtained in this campus is around 10 lakhs ,the average packages 6 lakhs and the lowest packages 3 lakhs. The percentage of the students get placed in this campus is around 45%. The previous visited companies are Wipro Infosys Mahindra Accenture Zoho Amara Raja and some small companies. After getting the degree I would like to place in the campus placements and get the job

College life is most memorable

Placement Experience:

You can't expect any on-campus jobs here, the placement levels are very low. Only start-ups and local companies visit here however you can try different off-campus jobs. The highest off-campus package is 12 LPA and here the percentage of placements is too low as it is a tier 3 college. So I recommend if you choose your career or expect a high package, then this will be not for you.

Campus facilities, girls hostel fee & restrictions in gmrit

Well in EAMCET counselling i applied for several colleges across the ap and most of that I want to be in anits collge which is in vizag but I got this college in my counselling but I never regret to be in gmrit and well my rank is not enough to get the seat in Anits collge but exams are moderate as I said before you can easily score by previous year papers and overall admission process is quite good and our collge accepts cse below 10k rank you can easily get the seat of you are good enough score marks in EAMCET and my college helps a lot of people and have several connections with reputated companies which is quite helpful to students to get new jobs...Read More

Campus life in gmrit and placements in gmrit
