Best college for civil engineering.

The college management is extremely student friendly. They properly understand the students.

I took the LEET examination and got 150 rank in haryana. I got admission in jcd college of engineering through the counselling process. I particularly opted for this college because it is the best college for civil engineering in western haryana.

The course structure is excellent in terms of research and development. Students are allowed to perform various research experiment in the lab. Students can also access j-gate journals for research and can also publish their papers. All the students doing their masters in technology have to submit their research papers.

Our college have very good tie ups with many multinational companie. These companies visit our college every year and offer various internship programmes for the students.

As I told earlier our college have good tie ups with many multinational companies like larsen and turbo, era group, dlf, Microsoft, airtel etc. Last year over 380 out of 400 students got in campus placements. The highest package was of 50 lacs and around 10 lacs of average packages.

Our college focuses on both academics and non academics. From time to time various talent hunts, sports events, technical fests, management and cultural events are organised on a large scale in our college. Thousands of students participates in these events and the winners are rewarded accordingly.

The fee structure is very feasible. The students are allowed to pay the fee in various parts. A bank is also provided in the college campus for the students. Various scholarship schemes are also available. The bank provides loan to the students who doesn't have a good economical background.

The college has good gender ratio. Various debate competition are organised by the students in the hostels. All the hostels have a common tv room which students can access any time. Political elections for student organisation are also held from time to time. All hostels are gaurded 24*7.

There are separate hostel for boys and girls in our campus. These hostels are well designed to fullfil all the requirements of the students. All hostels have a common mess which focuses heavily on the heigene of the students. All students are full wifi equipped and have a separate gym,and all the other facilities required by the students.

I first interacted with my seniors in the induction programme and I can happily say that it was very good. Ragging is fully banned in our college, whoever is caught doing ragging is rusticated from the college after doing the full investigation. Seniors are mostly good, they helped me to understand various topics, provided me moral support.

Exams are conducted in every six months by the institution. Only students with more than 75 percent of attendance are allowed to sit in the examinations. Everyday we have atleast 3 hours of lab. Where we have to perform various experiment. So atlast you could say that our day isn't much hectic.

Teaching faculty is extremely good in my college. All the teachers are well qualified with at-least five years of experience. All the teachers are have done their masters of technology in their respective branches. All teachers are very polite and have good understanding with the students.
