Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Actually, I just wanted a computer science course at an iit thats why I joined it. There are regular practicals and lab visits that help us a lot. The exams take place in 1 or 2 months regularly. The course curriculum is good.

Placement Experience

4

the placements are awesome actually i am in computer science course and it has average package of 34lpa but allover college package is 22.77lpa the highest package was 1.68cpa more than 65% students here gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

the yearly fees for me will be approx 50k as my income is below 1 lakh. tuition fees for me is 6350, the hostels are free and i have to pay for the mess the mess only the one time admission fees is approx 15,550 some of my batchmates have to pay more than 2 lakh annualy due to their income criteria . other SC,ST,PWD students have to payy 21,665 at time of admission and 15k per semester for mess many of the scholarships are available to the students some are provided by the alums too.

Campus Life

4.5

the overall experience is above the expectations there are too many clubs to join the sr. interact directly to teach any concept about the club to each. the central library has air conditioner facility and feels good to sit in library and study. the technology is not that much used in the classromm but a projector only that is even tilted students used to open social groups and advertize them and they gets good responses. these clubs makes the college life more amazing

Hostel Facilities

4

the hostels are good we have a 10 story building with approx 58 rooms on each floor with a common hall and 2 common and large washrooms which are maintained regularly. the hostel is free thats why i think there are no ac's in the hostel. the meal quality is fabulous. the registration process is very easy just sir on a seat they will call your name take your documents ask 2 to 3 questions and done.

Admission

The admission process was so easy that we were already sent the list of documents we just had to go in line submit them and go for biometric only. 12 pass students or those who have taken a 1-year drop may apply for the course with the same age restrictions. The applications are through josaa counseling. We don't have participated still in the exams.

Faculty

3.5

actually the students dont interact with the profs. but we elect a class representative which talks with the prof on behalf of our class. the faculty are always to teach and solve doubts unnlike other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
