ITS DENTAL COLLEGE- A review

• Having scored 470 in NEET, I applied to all the private dental colleges in the NCR region. Among them, ITS muradnagar had the highest cutoff and clearing that meant i was eligible for admission in all the other colleges of this region as well. I had confirmed admissions from ITS noida, Sharda, Indraprastha and IDST dental college. But i choose ITS Ghaziabad. • I choose ITS muradnagar over other colleges, because ITS had the best patient flow and exposure. The students had opportunity to learn and integrate with real patients from their first week of classes itself, unlike other colleges who wait for 3rd year, to make students familiar with the patients. • In ITS students were dealing with patients as first year students, whereas in other colleges like sharda, basic dentistry procedures like RCT's were not taught even after third year to the students. • The admission process of ITS is merit based. We had to take UPCAT as our entrance exam which was MCQ type Exam. I.T.S. is a top college for BDS courses, it ranks no 3 in U.P. We did have an interview process with the principal. There were 75% marks criteria as well, in the Higher secondary curriculum. I am pursuing BDS. Its fee is 3,65000 per year and 50000 security fee.
