Course Curriculum Overview

I think the course I chose is good but timing management is very difficult for me. I am a hosteller and there are many works that I can do after the classes and I have less time to manage all this.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 136200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college is 136200 for btech cse students for each semester. I know that it was expensive for this reason Chandigarh University provides the scholarship exam for all the students. In this scholarship exam your scholarship depends upon your marks. I just give an example but it is related to Chandigarh University if any person gets marks between 90-100 they will get 100 percent scholarship but it is valid for only one year of you want to retain your scholarship you can make marks more than 7.5 cgpa .

Campus Life

They will organise many functions and there is no doubt that these are too many excellent and very enjoyable moments to us. I will like the festival and the programs that Chandigarh University organise for the students. On the campus, there are a lot of activities that you will do such activities are sports, NCC, clubs, a research centre to explore yourself and gain more and more knowledge etc. Many things are there. And in the end, I will say that if you join Chandigarh University you will be more attentive and concentrated in your class because of so many reasons and you all know that.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good and I have face no problem till now . I will recommend you If you come from far you will take the hostel . It's food is very tasty and good . There are so much facilities that Chandigarh University provides to us with this low budget .

Hostel Fee: INR 106800 per year

Admission

It is very easy. You will ensure that you were already given the cucet exam. According To that you will be easily admission to the university. This exam is online it is a very complex situation for us because of for any reason you have a network issue your test will be auto submitted this happens in my case.

The teachers are very good . They provide lots of information to us. They remind the things very easily and the way that they has to summarise and give the knowledge is very understanding and very comfortable.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
