So I choose this course becouse of its high job opportunities They provide life skills and communication skills classes I don't think they need to do improvement because all teachers carry very much experience. This is my POV

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So basically for BTECH CSE GENERAL Per semester fees is 136000(approx) For scholarship you have to give cucet exam or it will be on the basis of your 12th score . Examination fees-2000rs Security fees - 1000rs

Campus Life

So it's quite exciting here , such a big campus , so many fests and activities. We have a chance to explore the campus. You have banks , coffee shops etc. Inside the university They have good labs , tutorial rooms and lecture rooms . They promote sports and co curricular activities along with the studies.

Admission

So some of the courses you can take direct admission. But in some of the courses you had to give their entrance exam named as CUCET Which also offer upto 100% of scholarship For BTECH you have to give CUCET and should get minimum 30 marks And criteria for admission is minimum 60% in +2 And all other things are good here .

Faculty

So basically they did a brilliant thing that they divide students into different block in which they have different sections and in those different sections there will be 2 groups and all sections have different teachers . Faculty is quite good and responsible . Their instraction with students is good .

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
